After one year.

Malaika's POV

It's been a year already. I feel happy. I feel free. A lot of things happened. I told dad everything and my 'mom' really did surrender to the police. My dad was so furious.

I went to a therapist too and it did help me. A lot.

I deactivated account after leaving Korea that is why I have no idea what is happening back then, but not now . I need to distance myself too.

Those times made me realize things. My dad helped me too.

Now, I should call Sander and Amara to meet me at my restaurant. Yes. I'm in Seoul, Korea again.

Amara's POV

Napatingin ako sa phone ko nang mag notif. Agad nanlaki mata ko ng makita ko ang pangalan niya. Malaika.

Aika: Hi guys! See you at my restaurant. I'll be waiting for you.

Putangina? Restaurant? Does she mean nandito siya. Agad akong nag bihis. Buti na lang mag kasama ang mag-ama ko.

Habang nag dridrive ako papunta sa restaurant ni Malaika naalala ko na ilang beses kami tinanong ni Suga if may contact ba kami kay Malaika.

Pag kapasok sa resto ay halos walang tao. Isa lang. Nakatalikod siya samin, she has long ash gray hair, wearing a white bralette, wide pants, and heels. Kahit nakatalikod at nag pakulay ng buhok ay alam namin na si Malaika yun.

"MALAIKAAA!" sabay namin na sigaw ni Sander at patakbong lumapit sakanya.

Agad siyang lumingon samin. Siya nga, andito na siya. Ngumiti siya. Damn. Her yes and smile, it's different now. Mukhang hindi lang ako nakapansin dahi natigilan din si Sander. Nagulat na lang kami ng maramdaman naming yung yakap ni Malaika.

"I miss you guys. Did you miss me?" she asks.

"Damn you." Sander said and we heard her laugh.

I know she's happy now. Her eyes, smile, and laugh. It's all genuine now.

"I miss you." naluluhang sabi ko. She smiled and hug us tighter.

"Do you guys want to eat? I cooked." Agad kaming umoo. Siyempre noh, luto ni Malaika yan, paano kami tatanggi.

Nag kamustahan kami. She told us what happened and Sander and I are both happy. As long as those months without update made her this now. We are happy.

Habang nag kwekwentuhan ay biglang na nag notif yung phone naming ni Sander. May live ang BTS, we looked at sabay kaming napatingin ni Sander kay Malaika. It's Suga, and he's singing. Damn. Ano to sakto? Coincidence?

Malaika look at our phone and when she saw Suga, she smiled.

"May tatakbuhan pa kaya ako pabalik?" she said like asking herself.

We didn't say anything as she continues watching Suga's live singing. The song that Suga's singing made me and Sander look at Malaika who is quietly watching. The song was always be my baby. I'm excited what will happen now. Pagkatapos kumanta ni Suga nagulat kami sa sinabi niya.

"It's been a year now hah kitten." He uttered and smiled. We look at Malaika, she is smiling widely. I look at the date today, indeed, it's the exact date that Malaika leaved.

"I guess I have to run now." She said and smirked. Oh no, we know that smirk. The spiled side of Malaika. What she wants, she gets. "Amara, would you like a part time photographer?" she asks.

Now she knows hah. I smirked at her and she smirked back. We look at Sander and he is just staring at the both of us. He knows what's Malaika going to do.

Suga I hope you're ready for this kind of Malaika.

"Let's go, I need to meet Mother and Father." Mother and Father? What? Sander and I look at each other asking what does Malaika means and both of us seem to not know anything.
