Taehyung and Jungkook were having dinner with their family at Kim's. Tae took a bite of the food and looked forward. Only to see a gloomy eyes perching right into him. He gulped hard and raised his head a little. 4 pairs of angry eyes were shooting lasers to him. Jungkook was eating quietly beside Tae and Jin on the other side could just sigh and eat his dinner.
" Will you say something or just shove your mouth with food ! " His Eomma asked angrily.
" Food.... is delicious... Eomma. " He sad pressing his lips into thin smile. He looked at his right. Jungkook shook his head and sigh.
" Did we asked you about the food ? " His father asked sternly. " First time ever we got complaint from the school about you. Why did you have to pick a fight? "
"You are a nice kid Tae..... You should not pick fights with anyone..... Just look at your face. " Mrs. Jeon said.
" We know you will not fight without any reason but hitting a boy this bad is not acceptable Tae..... Things could have gone worse. " Mr. Jeon said with a straight face.
" Then what should I do Appa? Stay quite when that jerk was harassing MY Kookie. He was calling him with names. Should I stay their quite and do nothing? " He spat angrily and got up the chair. Everyone looked at him with wide big eyes.
" I will fight with everyone who hurts my Kookie. I can't let anyone hurt him." Mr. and Mrs. Jeon turned to look at Jungkook who was looking down at his lap sadly. Jungkook pulled his(TAE) arms not looking up to calm him down. Mr. Kim sigh and took out his phone. He dialed a number and put the phone in his ear.
" Hello Mr. Lee (Dean of Uni ) " Everyone listened to their conversation silently.
"....."
"Yes, I heard about the fight and talked to my son..... I heard the boy was harassing Jungkook due to which Tae hit him. "
"......."
" I would like to talk to the boy and his parents personally Mr. Lee . They can take any action they want with my son for what he have done. " Tae looked away feeling disappointed.
" And please inform them I'm suing their son for harassing my son ." Tae turned towards his father in shock . Everybody was shocked.
"....."
" No Mr. Lee. I'm not stepping back. No one has the right to hurt my son. Jungkook is the 3rd son of this family. He is the part of my family. If anyone hurt him again they will have to deal with me. " He cut the phone looked towards his smiling son. Jungkook was looking towards him with big shocking eyes. He was literally Jungshook.
"Next time somebody tries to hurt your Kookie.... You better break some bones Tae. He just has one black eye and some bruises, that's not good enough for what he did. " He said and Tae jumped to hug him with a huge boxy smile. And everybody was shocked except Mrs. Kim. They love and adore the bunny boy and will not let anyone hurt him.
" What are you saying Kim... We came here to stop him from fight, not to push him to new one! " Mrs. Jeon said sternly
" Well as much as I want to say you did right Tae" Mr. Jeon said and Mrs. Jeon glared at him. Mr. Jeon raised his hands in defeat. " You should not fight with anyone Tae."
"He will not fight unless and until it doesn't involve Kookie's security ." Mr. Kim said with stern voice.
"That doesn't mean he has to bruise himself so badly Jeon. Look at him! His handsome face is covered in bruises." Mrs. Jeon spat back at him.
"ehemm....." Jin said clearing his throat. " Not to interrupt in two besties sweet talk but I'm more handsome than him." Jin said from the corner of the table. Every one looked at him. Tae raised his one eye brow as if questioning 'you have to say that'. Jin raised his shoulder and hand gesturing back at him as if saying ' of course, has to be clear who is world wide handsome you know'. Mrs. Jeon and Mr. Kim rolled their eyes and began to bickering again.
" He will not fight again!"
" Let me repeat myself Jeon, He will fight again if it involves Jungkook."
"Well let's end this session for now shall we. I'm hungry." Mr. Jeon said and both best friend glared at him back.
"Thanks Appa!"
" Kookie ! Some boy was harassing you and you didn't say us anything? Don't you think we need to know about stuffs like this. " Mrs. Kim scolded him. She sigh in disappointment.
" Sorry Eomma. I didn't..... want to bother you. " Jungkook said sadly.
" Do you think a child can ever be a bother to his mother? You hurt me today Kookie. I thought I was your mother. May be I was wrong. "
She said crossing her arms. Jungkook burst into tears and began to sob. Everyone laughed at him which made him sob loudly. Tae went and hugged the crying boy tightly.
" Eomma... You made him cry." Tae whined rubbing his back while everyone else just cooed at the two. Jungkook stand up and went crying to Mrs. Kim
"Sorry Eomma !.... I didn't mean to hurt you. Don't be angry " He said with a crying bunny face. Everyone grinned at the innocent boy.
" I was just pulling your leg Kookie. I can never be angry at you. " She hugged the crying boy and rubbed his back.
"But you have to promise me that whenever you have any issue, you will tell us immediately. Okay!" He nodded wiping his tears. Everyone could only cooed at the innocent crying bunny.
"Now if the family drama has come to end. Let's eat, shall we? " Jin said raising his chop stick. Tae grabbed Jungkook's hand, intertwined it with his big ones and brought him beside his chair. All had dinner laughing and chatting while the two still intertwined their hands all the time.
" Now let's go back home. I'm tired." Mrs. Jeon said rubbing her back. Jungkook looked at his hands and looked at Tae who was quietly eating his last bite.
"Good night every one see you tomorrow. Let's go Kookie before your mother breaks our bone." Jungkook looked back at Tae. He tried to pull his hands from Tae but he grabbed his hands more tightly. Everybody looked at the quiet boy realizing why he is not getting up from the chair.
" Tae, he can't go his home without his hand. You have to let go." Jin said
"Never!" Tae said getting up from his seat. " Eommas, Appas, Hyung good night we will be sleeping in the cottage..... Kookie say good night to everyone." Jungkook looked at the older confused.
"Tae!--" Tae cut him before saying anything. "I'm not leaving you sleep alone tonight Kookie. You will get nightmares and whimper all night." The latter pulled his hands and went out the door to their destination.
Tae couldn't leave the boy alone. Every time Jungkook has went through a bad time he always end up getting nightmares and whimper all night. So Tae decided to sleep in the cottage with the younger. Now they are here cuddling each other. Jungkook is hiding his face in other's chest. And Tae was rubbing his back softly.
Don't worry babe ..... I will protect you no matter what.... Good night Kookie.
Tae pecks his forehead and wrap his hands firmly around the latter and both went to deep slumber.
