Chapter 35

"I'm going to let you go, Eun Chae. You and I, we're going to get divorce." Yoongi whispered. My body stiffened as his words still ringing inside my head. "What are you talking about Yoongi? Are you drunk?" I asked and he let go of me before he got up from the seat. "No. I am absolutely sober. Like I said, I am going to let you go. Everything should not be happening from the start. I shouldn't have offer myself to send you to Jang Mi's tomb, I shouldn't have made a deal with the devil and lost eomma just to save you. I should have never left the cult just because of you. The cult members are at risk now, considering I'm the devil. " He turned his back on me and I frowned. "Yoongi, do you regret doing all of those you mentioned above just for me?" I asked and he keep quiet. "Absolutely. I have no fucking idea why I did all these just to save your sorry ass." Because of love, that is the reason. "Now that I have the devil as my vessel and you being Lilith's descendant, it is best if you leave. After all in bible, the devil and Lilith's relationship did not last at all."

I feel the heaviness and pain on my throat. It is too painful for me to swallow it. "Yoongi, I don't get it. I thought we're in love? Why are you doing this out of sudden?" I asked as I hold his hand but he pulled it away not wanting to be touched. "You want to know the real reason? I never loved you, Eun Chae and the feelings is mutual for you too. Our marriage is just based on a piece of paper. Wasn't that what you said before we got married? I used you just so I can get the best offer from the devil. Being his vessel just so he can get close to Jang Mi who was awakened by your stupid witch ancestors." Yoongi hold both my arms firmly and forced me to look at him. "Now think about it, Eun Chae. Your feelings started to develop as soon Lilith left something inside you. It didn't come from your heart. You never love me. The feelings you had was a false one." At that moment I could not hold it any longer. I slapped Yoongi hard in his face. Every feelings inside me shut down.

"Fine then if that is what you want. I'll fucking sign it." I walked over to the table and take the paper and sign it. Once I'm done signing it, I throw the paper on his face. "We're over, Min Yoongi." I said before walking past him and head upstairs. I begin to pack my things, call a cab to get me. Once I managed to get a cab, I went to take a look at Jang Mi who is looking at her toys that is hanging on her baby coat. "I can't believe this is happening, Jang Mi. Happiness does not last forever. Be happy while you can." I said before I grabbed my things and leave the room. Yoongi is standing by the window and turn around as soon he heard me coming down the staircase. I took off the wedding ring and place it on the table. I walked over to the door and before I leave, I turn to look at him. "Before I go let me just say something that will probably stay with you for the rest of your life. This decision you made was not worth your mother's death. It went to waste just like that when you could actually still be with her. Now she is in hell and it is all because of a son like you." With that I slammed the door behind me and get into the cab without bothering to turn and look at the house one last time.

Yoongi POV
As soon she left, I called Taehyung and he answered after one ring. "She's gone, Taehyung." I said and let out a heavy sigh. "Great. Don't think too much, hyung. We are doing this to protect her and the rest of the members. You have to come home, Hyung. It's time." Taehyung said and I just remembered Jang Mi. What will happen if I go back to Jeon's Mansion and leave Jang Mi behind. No one knows about her except for Eun Chae. I head down to the basement and decided to summon the devil.

"I find it interesting with what you are currently doing. You made her leave because you know what will happen to her real soon." The devil said as I run my hands along my hair, thinking how screwed up this will be. "You knew about this didn't you? She lied about leaving her body and not coming back..." I said while looking at my own mirror reflection. "What can I say, She is a demon. All she does is lie so you can't blame her fully. You as my vessel on the other hand should have figure this out easily. But you were blinded by love to see the truth inside her." The devil said and I clenched my fist. "What are you going to do with Jang Mi? Now that she's alive and I have to go back to the mansion." I asked and the devil smirked at me.
