Chapter 41

"Seems like you miss me a little too much, dearest ex wife." I clenched my jawline firmly and at that moment I feel hatred fueled in my blood. My body is fuming with anger and I am tempted to slap him on his face. Hard. He walks over and I close the door behind me. My hand is trembling and as soon he get close, I slapped him hard. "I don't fucking miss you. Not a single bit." I gritted my teeth. "You and Taehyung owe me a fucking explanation." I snapped while Yoongi rubbed his cheek that I slapped earlier.

"You fucking knew my past didn't you? Was that the reason why you decided to divorce me?" Yoongi ignore me as he stares down at me. "YAH! I AM TALKING TO YOU." That's it, I'm done with him. "Get the fuck out of my sight." I said as I pushed him away however Yoongi grabbed my shoulder and pushed me against the car, closing the gap between us. "Let go of me." I said as I was about to break down but hold it back. "No. You're the one that called me many times. You need to calm the fuck down and then we shall talk." He said as let go of me. "I'll see you back at your apartment." Yoongi said and with that he gets back to his car while I enter mine. I let out a loud screaming to vent out my anger.

As soon I arrived at my apartment, both Yoongi and Taehyung are standing at the front door. "Back off." I snapped before placing my thumb on the keypad for it to detect. Once the door is unlock I enter the house and straight went up to my room. I paced back and forth, keep questioning myself whether I am ready for everything. Every single explanation by them. I sit on my bed and tap my feet nervously on the floor. I need something to calm me down. I walk over to my sacred room and get one of the herb and burn it. With a few words of spell, I inhale the smoke and immediately it calms me down. My mind, body and soul. I stepped out of the room and head back downstairs to the living room.

"This place never change." Yoongi said and I ignore him. "Now talk." I said as I poured myself a glass of whiskey, not bothering to pour for any of them. "What is there to talk about? You saw everything via Taehyung." Yoongi said and I finish up my whiskey before throwing the glass at him. He managed to dodge it. "Hyung calm down. I'll talk." Taehyung said as he stop Yoongi from getting up. "Remember that night when Yoongi hyung saved you from getting killed by Maria?" He did not wait for me to reply.

"The cult members were surprise by what hyung did. Saving your life. So I decided to ask hyung personally about your personal life. He didn't know much about you. Like your family background all.
Now what I did was, I volunteer myself to do the background check which leads me to your parents house. Don't worry I didn't harm them." Taehyung said and I open up the whiskey bottle and drink it. "You might want to stay sober, Eun Chae." He took my whiskey bottle and cover it back. "Sober." He snapped his finger right in front of my face and I pushed his hand away. "Of course for one need to find the truth, one had to lie. I told your parents that you've been promoted as the Director of Seoul Medical and the company is throwing a party. Pretty lame but I asked them for your baby and child photos to make it into a video montage. Lame right?" Taehyung laughs nervously.

"Now the interesting part was, they don't have your past photos. They told me you're adopted and asked me to check with Grace Orphanage." He smirked deviously. "And that was when everything was revealed about your past. A few of the nuns there were our cult members. They're hypocrite bitch who wants money just by sucking the devil's dick." My eyes immediately look at Yoongi. "Disgusting." I mutter. "Eun Chae, the Lilith's blood that flows inside you cause you so much disaster eversince you're born. You had no idea who your real mother was. You were taken away and was placed at the door of a random stranger who happened to be Yoongi's eomma, Aunt Yoong. She took care of you for six years before she sent you to the orphanage. You were even close to Yoongi hyung back then." I felt the hot tears rolling down my cheeks and wipe it off.

"Alright I think that is enough for today. Taehyung, leave." Yoongi said as he stood up and the young ones nod as he left. Once the door is close, I broke down. My whole body become weak and I cried not caring the fact that Yoongi is still here. I covered my face not wanting to accept the reality world that I lived in. "What did I do wrong in life, Yoongi? TELL ME? You're the devil you should know. Why did you even lie to me?" I smacked his chest as he pulled me into a hug. He pressed my head against his chest as I cried.

"I don't even know who my real mother was and the mother whom took care of me for six years, died because of me. Tell me Yoongi, what did I do to deserve such pathetic life?" Yoongi remained silence and he just hug me tightly. "Even you whom I loved so much, left me. What must I do to make my life right? I'm sure you have everything at your fingertips." I leaned away and Yoongi wiped away my tears. Yoongi gazes at me for a moment before he brushed my hair off my face. "Please fix me, Min Yoongi. I don't want to face all these bullshit anymore." I said as I gazes at him and I can tell he is finding a solution. Something tells me that whatever is about to happen is the devil's solution.

"Do you know what's the reason behind all these mess and why I left you ?" He asked and I shake my head. "It's because you're Lilith's vessel and descendent. That is the reason why all these chaos been happening in your life. Since you're born up till now. Lilith wants nothing more than seeing the world becomes chaos right in front of your eyes. She's a manipulative one. Knowing the fact that you love me but she hates the devil so much, she will make an attempt to whisper into your ears and make you kill me in any way she could think of." Yoongi's thumb caresses my cheek. "She wants you to feel her misery and pain that she went through in her celestial world." He sighed before he kneels down being on the same eye level as me.

"I want to start new. Everything new with you. Build everything from scratch with you. Your life and our relationship being a restart. What I'm about to do will be a hell threatening risky one but for your sake, I'll suggest it." Yoongi said as his pupils darken while I gazes into his eyes. "I'm going to perform a ritual on you. A ritual known as renascitur which literally means reborn in latin. I will restore all the memories you had in the past. The memories that Yuri stole from you and you shall embrace it. From there onwards I'll help you go through that and you can slowly accept your true self. But in return Eun Chae....
