Colour me midnight blue
when I am sad and melancholy
tint it with a hint of grey
and mix them to show my tainted life
colour me blue, colour me.
Colour me crimson red
when I am begging for love
tint it with a hint of black
and mix them to show my fervent hands.

Colour me whitish-yellow
when I am bathing in sunlight
tint it with a hint of orange
and mix them to show my gorgeous smile.
colour me yellow, colour me.
Colour me forest-green
when I am carefree and lively
tint it with a hint of lemon-green
and mix them to show my refreshed mind.
colour me green, colour me.
Colour me violet lilac
when I am aching all over for connection
tint it with a hint of white
and mix them to show my deepest insight.
colour me lilac, colour me.
Colour me shiniest white
when I am all innocent and pure
tint it with hint of purple
and mix them to show my childish soul.
colour me white, colour me.
Colour me colours
when I am all of these and more
when I am despised or loved
with the colours that make me glow
