I took you in my kingdom,
Brought you safety and a large sum,
The money didn't really matter,
Your friendship's solace was the golden platter.

Right at victory's edge,
You pushed me down,
The rusted ledge.
Betrayal had never tasted,
So bitter while it lasted.

Broken bones and bloodied teeth,
My heart thumps for revenge,
My grown fingernails crawl through the mud,
Pain, there's no such thing!

I watch in the shadows,
Your filthy arms
Tainting my palace.

I muster all your enemies,
The others you betrayed,
With the promise of blood
And saving the bloodline of a queen.

We bring the battle,
To your feet,
The war between good and bad,
All fairy tales share the same feat.

Let this battle,
Between greed and goodwill,
Be a seed of knowledge sown,
To the future of children.
That always and forever,
The good triumphs.

Amidst gore and war,
I see you from afar,
Your terror
Shines like a star.

And as I lift my axe,
Carved with my sharpened nails,
I relish your death,
As your failure nears.

My revenge is fulfilled,
Like a man in hunger,
The throne of a queen in my hands,
As yours lie in the coffin,
Good versus evil,
Don't we all know who wins?
