A lonely road,
An empty heart
A heavy mind
That same old mode.

The car was cold
Her skin was dry
The tears tickled her eyes
But had fallen so much
That now there were no tears left to cr.

She hit hard on the ground,
The fall was short, but the impact was too painful.
Result of high hopes and expectations
For a wild love, for a new angel.

But as the sun came up,
As the darkness turned into light,
She put on her armour
And faced her fight with a smile.

Her soul was tired,
Her heart was jaded
But the flame inside her was far from being faded.

Despite all the odds she stood from the crowd,
Raised her hand in victory.
Lost so many battles but won a war,
A fight between herself and the curse that they had given her.

She still struggles to breath,
She is still looking for that special feeling,
But we all know what is underneath,
A little fighter with big dreams.

Don't keep her inside,
Set her free and let her run towards the light,
Let her flame burn it all down,
Because there are so many things out there to be found.

She didn't need a sharp knife or a big gun,
All she ever needed was her soul,
That wild spirit and beautiful heart who would hold the world.
