The scream, a heart wrenching sound
Like her world has turned upside down
They told her he may not be around
She wants to join him but her hands are bound

Tears of pain run down her cheeks
Her voice is cracking as she speaks
But don't you dare treat her weak
For she's neither scared nor meek

Picking up the pieces of her shattered heart
Tedious work as it often falls apart
But to her beloved she has made a vow
Neither the world nor Death can make her bow
