Stella & Severide: A Love Story

Godparents

The next morning, Stella headed into town with Freddie and Kim. They chose to go to a mall to find something that would reveal to Gabby and Matt that they were asking to be godparents. Kelly stayed behind with Matt, Gabby and Louie and spent their day at the aquarium.

Stella: Oh my this place is huge.
Kim: Have you an idea how you want to ask them?
Stella: I was thinking of either a t-shirt to read "will you be my godparents?" Or a little gift of some type that reads it.
Kim: Okay, let's see what we can find then.

They headed off into different shops, searching for something they could use. They came to a T-shirt printing stand that was placed in the middle of the mall, alongside other little pop up shops. She chose a shirt for Freddie and a vest for the baby, both reading "will you be our god parents?".

Stella: I think these will do, they are cute.
Kim: Totally, you can get Freddie to ask Gabby with his sweatshirt and then she will see the T-shirt.
Stella: Yeah good idea, and I can hold the vest on my little bump.
Kim: Cute!

Stella chose a white T-shirt and vest with black writing. Since she didn't know the sex of the baby just yet, she decided to keep them both neutral. They got their goodies and headed back to the hotel.

Once they arrived back, Stella and Kelly met back at their hotel room with Freddie. Showing him the T-shirt and vest, he was in awe at how cute it was. They planned to ask at dinner tonight as they were due to be headed home soon.

As the day went on, Kelly made sure to dress Freddie in his T-shirt, covering it with a zipped jacket. Stella folded the vest into her bag and headed down for dinner.

Kelly: Hey guys, y'all okay?
Gabby: We're great, you?
Stella: All good. She smiled.

They sat and ordered food. Once settled, Stella asked Gabby to help take Freddie's jacket off of him.

Stella: Hey baby are you getting hot? She asked Freddie.
Freddie: Yes mommy.
Stella: Gabby, do you mind helping him with his jacket please? As she sat across from them, reaching into her bag.
Gabby: Sure.

She slowly unzipped his jacket and read his T-shirt. She looked around as a smile filled the faces of Stella and Kelly.

Stella: So? What do you say? She said as she held up the vest.
Kelly: For both of our babies!
Gabby: Of course yes! She squealed.
Matt: Oh my this is go exciting!
Stella: I'm so glad, I know your already the best for our babies! Freddie loves his auntie Gabby and Uncle Matt.
Kelly: And baby bean will definitely love you both too.

They finished up eating as happy as they were.

Matt and Kelly took the boys to play for a while before bed, leaving the girls to catch up a little.

Gabby: I'm honoured that you'd choose me and Matt to be your babies godparents. We love them both so much.
Stella: Hey I wouldn't want anyone else, I know how much Freddie adores you. We do too, we both love you so much.
Kim: I told you baby, all will fall into place. She said as she held onto Stellas hand.
Gabby: I think I'm ready for another baby, all this is making me super broody.
Stella: Oh my yes! She squealed.
Kim: They'd be close in age like the boys!
Stella: Aw they'd be as close as our boys are, have you spoken to Matt?
Gabby: I think he does too, he hasn't said anything but he's been a little extra lately, I don't know I just think it's the right time.
Stella: Your already the best mommy! She hugged Gabby.
Gabby: See if Matt had said anything to Kelly before I speak to him? I mean we don't use any protection but last year he wasn't ready, I don't want to push it.
Stella: Yeah sure, I'll see if he's said anything. I'm sure if you spoke and was open he'd be fine. He was when Kelly was teasing you about being child free this holiday. She laughed a little.
Gabby: I mean we sure have taken advantage of that so thank you Kim!
Stella: Oh us too, Kelly's been none stop. She smirked realising her aunt was sat. Im sorry auntie but he has. As she could see her laughing.
Gabby: Thank you for loving my boy as much as you do too Kim. We're so grateful.

They sat a while longer and talked, opening up about all these little things felt good to have some girly time. Kelly and Matt arrived back with the boys and they all headed up to their rooms, each tucking the boys in before leaving Kim's hotel room.

Kelly wrapped his arms around Stella as they arrived back at their room, feeling all over her.

Stella: Hey you. She smiled.
Kelly: God I missed you today.
Stella: I missed you too. You gotta let us get in this door baby. She laughed as she felt him running his hands over her, down to her ass.
Kelly: I know I know.

She slotted the key into the door and entered the hotel room.

Stella: I'm tired after today, I feel it's been such a long day.
Kelly: Me too, I think the sun is catching up with me.
Stella: You sure have got a tan. She said looking at him lay on the bed in just his boxers. His tanned skin standing out against the white sheets.
Kelly: Are you happy? You know things went well?
Stella: Of course, they're the best friends and already love our babies so much.
Kelly: Good, Matt said he's over the moon that we asked, especially for both our babies.

Stella got herself onto the bed as she cuddled into him.

Stella: Does Matt not want any more babies? Like has he said anything to you lately?
Kelly: Um he's been going on about he can't wait for our new baby. Why?
Stella: Gabby wants to try for a baby, but she's unsure about Matt after his reaction last year. She was just wanting to know if he's mentioned anything.
Kelly: Well he said he was happy that Kim had the boys so they could have some alone time, guessing he does by that.
Stella: Exactly what she said, I told her to just talk to him.
Kelly: Yeah I'm sure he'd be fine with it. Gotta admit it has been nice to have our alone time too.
Stella: Of course, it's been amazing. I do miss my baby though.
Kelly: Me too, he's been having so much fun with Louie, I can't wait for him to be a big brother!
Stella: Me too, come on let's sleep.
Kelly: Sure, I'm beat. I love you. He said before leaning down, kissing her.
Stella: Mm I love you. She said, being so content.
