"So nice."

Angelica sat next to Dream on the grass, their mugs left on the side as they stared up at the sky. Since it was night, the stars were brighter and evident. Angelica felt like she was in heaven, next to the guy that she liked, her stomach warm because of the hot chocolate, her heart rapidly beating against her chest as she rested her head against Dream's shoulder. It made her want to cry because in the back of her head, there's that reminder that Dream only saw her as a friend, but... That's okay. She had him as a friend and that's okay, too.

They sat in silence for about 5 minutes, just enjoying nature and appreciating what was around them. Crickets were heard not so far from them and there was barking from a dog 5 houses down. They also heard their neighbor playing some music as they usually did at this time of day.

"You know," Dream started, voice under a whisper, "I really do enjoy these moments."

"Yeah, I do, too," Angelica breathed out before smirking, "because I don't need to listen to your annoying ass voice."

Dream looked down at her and shrugged her off, a snort escaping his lips. "You're so mean. After everything I've done for you and you treat me like this?"

He started to dramatically cry and Angelica raised an eyebrow at his dramatic antics. "Dude, chill."

"You need to start respecting me," Dream sniffed, playfully glaring at her.

"Why?" Angelica exclaimed, staring at him with a look of disbelief. Dream hid his smirk and shrugged, eyeing her.

"How old are you?"

"19," Angelica answered.

"How old am I?"

"Old."

Angelica started dying of laughter at Dream's offended look, clearly having believed that he was going to be making fun of her. How wrong he was.

Angelica fell backwards, landing on the blanket while holding onto her stomach, laughing so hard wheezes started escaping her mouth.

"I'm not that old!" Dream shook his head at her and she snickered, panting as she was out of breath for laughing hard. One glance at him, she started laughing again. "It's not even funny."

"Your face made it funny," Angelica breathed out, feeling a headache forming. "Oh, God. That made my day."

She sat up and wiped the tears forming in her eyes, snickering a bit more before her laughter trailed off. They were, again, enveloped in utter silence. Well, kind of, the neighbor was still playing music.
