Stepping off the train platform, I grabbed my bags and headed towards the bus stop to take the next bus home. My summer in Okinawa was amazing and I enjoyed my time working at Dope Sketch and skating with everyone at S. Uncle Kaoru even taught me the art of AI calligraphy. Once I arrived home, I took out my keys and unlocked the front door, and opened it. I saw my mom's and my brother's shoes placed carefully in a corner so people wouldn't trip.

"I'm home!"

"Isabel! I thought your train arrived later."

"I took an early train ride home because I wanted to see you guys."

"How sweet. Let me get your brother, he might be still in bed sleeping."

"It's fine Mom, he needs his rest. After all, we still have our last semester before we start high school."

"You're right. Go put your things away and come down to eat something."

"Okay, okay. After I eat, I'm going to work in the shed outback. Is that okay?"

"It's fine. Oh, and one of your friends called to say they were going to stop by."

"Thanks for telling me." I went upstairs and showered after putting my suitcases away. I wore a pair of jeans that were ripped above the knees with a black belt and under it, I wore fishnet tights. Tucked into my jeans, I wore a black and yellow striped mock turtleneck under an off-white grey t-shirt that had a yellow square in the middle. I took my grey sneakers with yellow accents and laces downstairs and put them on the patio steps so I could use them later. My hair was in a simple braid and I wore a black silk choker that my grandmother gave to me under my shirt.

"Lunch is ready! You look nice."

"Thanks." This outfit is what I usually wore when I raced at S, but no one outside Okinawa knew what it was.

"Tell me about your trip."

"I did learn a lot about running a business and I made good money. Kaoru taught me AI calligraphy but the best part is when we went to Miyako Island for the hot springs. They supposedly do miraculous healing but we got attacked by some kind of monster as we were on our way to the hot springs. It smelled awful, like wild animals, mud, and fish." I shuddered at the memory.

"Sounds like you had fun."

"I did, and I even learned some new skating tricks."

"You know, I've never seen you so happy."

"Huh?"

"You're always smiling when you watch heroes save the day and when you're with Izuku and us, but you're the happiest when skateboarding."

"If I didn't want to become a hero, I'd be skateboarding. That's why I look up to Hawks and Infinity as hero role models. They're the coolest."

"Yeah, well All Might is better." Katsuki said before sitting down.

"I'm going out back to work on some new designs."

"You're not going to eat anymore?"

"I'm not that hungry, Mom. I'll eat something later." I quickly said standing up and heading towards my workspace in the backyard.

I played some music on the small speaker that was connected to my phone before I started working on my latest board design

I played some music on the small speaker that was connected to my phone before I started working on my latest board design. I spent the next few hours sanding and shaping the wooden plank when I heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?"

"It's Denki." I turned to see my best friend at the door.

"Come in."

"So, this is your workspace?"

"Yeah, I work on my boards here when I have time to do so. It relaxes me and it keeps my mind off of things."

"It's cool you have a hobby like this. What are you working on?"
"Your board actually."
"You're seriously going to make me a skateboard?"

"Yeah, you said you wanted to learn how to skate. First, you need a board, so go ahead and pick out the trucks and wheels you want as well as the design."

"Um, okay?"

We spent the morning working on his board and by lunchtime, it was ready.

"Mom! I'm heading out with Denki to the skatepark!"

"Okay, just be home before dinner!"
"Let's go." We took the quickest route to the skatepark near home.

We spent hours skating so that when we decided to call it a day, the sun was setting

We spent hours skating so that when we decided to call it a day, the sun was setting.

"How do you manage to board fly with you?

"Lots of practice and patience my friend."

"How do you even have the patience for that? I get frustrated every time I fall off the board."

"I have a secret weapon. Katsuki Bakugo."

"Is he your older brother or something?"

"Yeah, my older twin brother."

"So you guys have twin telepathy or something?"

"I don't think so. We aren't that close so I wouldn't know."

"You're twins, and you aren't close?"

"Yeah, crazy right?"

"Why aren't you?"

"He has something against my quirk. His quirk was the first I copied and registered so when he found out I used it during the exams he went bat shit crazy. I even told my parents to run to the convenience store for snacks we didn't need so they wouldn't hear us fight."
"Do your parents know?"

"No, just Izuku and now you. I trust you Denki."

"And I trust you. Don't worry, I won't tell a soul. I'll take it to my grave if I have to."

"I know you will."
