"No more beefs, Reiki. I've done too many of them this summer." I said, my face down at Dope Sketch's front desk. Langa and Denki went out to get us lunch while we watched the shop for Oda.

"Come on, it's just this last one."

"Nope."

"Would you rather do the Miyakojima Hot Springs from last summer or another beef?"

"Hot springs." I said with no hesitation.

"Seriously?! Even after what happened?!"
"And I'd do it again to not see Adam's face for the rest of the summer."

"What's with you guys and hot springs?" Denki asked. He had just arrived with Langa, carrying our lunch from the burger joint nearby.

"Last summer we went to Miyakojima to heal Reki's injury at the hot springs."

"And we were attacked by these scary and smelly creatures."

"They're Pantu."

"Say what now?!" Reki exclaimed.

"Pantu. Apparently, Miyakojima has a cultural tradition where these guys dress up in leaves and grass with this weird mask and smear mud on houses, cars, and people."

"And what exactly do they do this for?"

"Apparently those who get attacked and mudded by them receive a year of protection and good fortune." I said, locking the front door to go eat lunch on the roof.

"Good luck? We were attacked and smelled for weeks!" Reiki argued.

"Even I can still smell it." Langa added.

"I wouldn't mind some good fortune, we do have our training camp coming up soon."

"Dude, you don't want this protection. Seriously." Reiki said in a scared voice.

"Relax, Reiki. It wasn't so bad." I said.

"Tell that to my nose hairs. The smell was so bad, they were burnt to a crisp."

"You're exaggerating."

"Now that I think about it, how would your training camp even work?" Langa asked.

"My guess is that we'll be training our quirks to develop them even further."

"Hey, how is that working for you? After the sports festival, using more than one quirk has gotten better for you."

"Reki's right, Isabel. During your final exam against Hawks, you didn't faint." Denki agreed.

"I guess you're right, minus the bloody nose."

"You fought against the number three hero?!" Reki exclaimed.

"Yeah, there weren't enough teachers to evaluate me, so they brought Hawks in."

"Is he as fast as they say he is?" Langa asked.

"Faster, I think. Hopefully, I'll be able to intern with him." I said before taking a sip of my smoothie. We sat there eating our lunch and midway, Denki broke the silence.

"So are we going to the hot springs or not?" Denki asked.

"So are we going to the hot springs or not?" Denki asked
