"Woo, I can't sleep!" Denki yelled as we just finished having dinner.
"I'm at max excitement!" Mineta exclaimed.
"Quiet down! Some people are sleeping." Mina scolded. I lay on the couch and smiled at Denki who was running around with the grapevine before turning my attention back to the book I was reading.
"I wonder if everyone will get excited with us." Iida wondered.
"It's better to not think about stuff like that. Getting embarrassed or nervous is the worst. Once you get on stage, all that's left is to have fun!" Jiro assured our class rep.
"Don't remind me. I'd hate to get nervous before the performance." I said. "But you seem the calmest out of everyone here." Mina told me.
"Well, I try not to think about it and imagine everyone as potatoes."
"That's exactly what Amajiki-senpai said when we first met him."
"You were super embarrassed, though!" Denki told Jiro.
"That was different." "What Jiro said works for a lot of things, huh?"
"Oui." Aoyama agreed with Izuku.
"Hey, Izuku. How's the rope coming along?"
"It's frayed."
"We did abuse it quite a bit during practice. It's proof of our friendship!"
"I'm not sure if it's that Aoyama, the rope seemed like it had been used way before we got our hands on it." "It's dangerous."
"Why don't you ask Yaoyorozu to make you one?" Denki asked.
"Yao-momo's already sleeping. Don't treat her like a handy tool." Mina scolded the blonde.
"But people use me as a charger."
"I don't." I tried comforting the boy.
"Isabel could do it!" Mineta suggested.
"No can do. I never copied or registered her quirk."
"I'll go buy new rope first thing tomorrow morning. I'm the one who didn't realize it was frayed. I've got morning practice anyway, and there are some other things I want to buy too." Izuku volunteered.
"Wait but the performance starts at ten tomorrow. Most stores don't open till nine, right?"
"There's a hardware store about fifteen minutes from here, Denki. At least I think there is."
"Yeah, it actually opens at eight." "That's cutting it pretty close though."
"Izuku'll be fine, Denki." I assured him. "Now I'll be up in my room getting some sleep."
"Let's definitely make this a success!" Kirishima cheered.
