A Job For Mom

This is a request for @niallhoranlover____I hope you like it!!

It all started when you were at work and Niall was working on some songs at home.

His daughter had rushed into the office room crying for her mother.

"Sweetie what's wrong" He asks running over to his 12 year old.

"YOU CAN'T HELP ME I NEED MOM" She just screamed through her tears.

And with that he called you.

"Hi babe what's up?" Her voice sounds calm over the phone while he is frantic and worried.

"Ellie just came up to me crying and asking for you." He says going to stand next to his daughter in an attempt to soothe her.

"Okay, put her on the phone"

Niall hands the phone to Ellie as her tears slow.

"Mom?"

"Hi sweetie what's wrong?"

"It happened"

"What happened sweetie?"

"IT happened mom."

At this it all clicks.

Their daughter was having her first period.

"Okay sweetie go and get new pants and underwear and then go into my bathroom and get one of the pads from under the sink ok?" She explains calmly to her daughter

"Ok" She says before following your instructions.

Niall waited outside the bathroom door to make sure everything was alright. He wasn't exactly clueless about something like this, but considering he himself is freaking out he was glad you answered the phone

When Ellie came out of the bathroom she seemed calmer as she handed the phone to Niall.

"Everything ok sweetie?" He asks her

"Yeah. I'm good. Thanks dad" She says before hugging him and leaving the room.

Once she was gone Niall brought the phone up to his ear

"Everything alright?" He asks you on the other end.

"Yeah. She was just scared and didn't know what to do"

"Thank you for helping her. She wouldn't tell me what was going on"

"Sometimes a girl needs her mom" She says, making him smile.

"well, Ellie's lucky she has a great one"

"Her dads pretty good too"

"I can't believe how quickly she's growing up"

"I know, times really flying"

"Maybe that means it's time for another one"

"Maybe" She says, causing both of them to smile before exchanging ''I Love You's and ending the call.

That night when you came home Ellie ran right up to you giving you a hug which you gladly reciprocated.

You then sat down with both Ellie and Niall and answered all of Ellie's questions.

"How many times is this gonna happen? How long? Why?"

"Once a month. About a week. Your bodies hormones are changing"

Needless to say it was an eventful night in the Horan household. And you and Niall may have got started on giving Ellie a sibling.
