"Don't wait for me", Wooyoung tells San after his Choreographies class

"Don't wait for me", Wooyoung tells San after his Choreographies class. "I've got some, uh, things to take care of first."

"Okay..." Curiously, San studies Wooyoung's face. There is something that's bothering him, that much is clear. But whatever it is, Wooyoung apparently doesn't want to go into detail about it. "Let's cook dinner together when you're done?"

A cute little smile lights up on Wooyoung's face. "Yeah. Sure. Okay, so... see you in a bit!" He swiftly retreats to the changing room, passing Yeosang on his way.

"Hey Yeosang." San greets his friend – or former friend, or whatever – with a timid smile. "That was a really cool dance class to watch."

"Hi, San." Yeosang doesn't smile. Instead, he throws a quick glance over his shoulder, to the door to the changing rooms that has just fallen shut behind Wooyoung. "Let's go and wait outside."

"What- Why? Are you waiting for Wooyoung?"

"Yep. Come on." Yeosang drags San towards the exit. It's only when they've stepped outside into the chilly fall breeze that he continues: "He's gonna end things with this guy, Jimin. And I just... wanna make sure that he lets him down gently." Yeosang swallows. "No one should be treated unfairly just because of their feelings. It's not his fault he's got them, you know? It's not his fault Wooyoung wants nothing to do with it..."

San shivers in the cold breeze as he turns his head to meet Yeosang's gaze. "Are you also... talking about us right now?"

This is awkward, awkward as hell – but now that he's said it out loud, San guesses that this conversation between them was kind of overdue. After all, their friends have started hanging out together – and San really hopes that the lunch today wasn't a one-time thing. He'd enjoyed it a lot, being able to not only talk to his close friends but also to Yeosang, and especially Wooyoung...

Tomorrow, San decides, he will get to know Seonghwa and Hongjoong a bit better. He hasn't exchanged more than a few words with them so far, but they seemed nice enough.

"No, I'm not!", Yeosang replies harshly, maybe a bit more harshly than necessary. "You didn't do anything wrong, San."

"I didn't?" A warm feeling blossoms in San's chest. Sure, he's told himself that he's tried his best, being considerate and everything; but hearing these words from Yeosang means worlds more than muttering them to himself without really believing them.

Another gust of wind destroys Yeosang's not-really-done hairdo and makes San pull his hood up. Goosebumps is creeping over his arms. "Let's go somewhere a bit more sheltered?"

"Good idea." Yeosang is shivering too. "Let's get over there." He points at the narrow path between the sports building and the graveyard.

It's definitely less windy between the two thick cement walls. San relaxes a bit. "So how-" And then he abruptly falls silent. Because at the same time that he spoke up, another voice did too. A voice from the inside of the sports building.
