So - this is really over now. I know I've already done it plenty of times, but I want to once again say Thank You :) Thanks to my amazing beta-reader a_lex_icon who had to go through two or three other versions of Trust before I came up with this one. Thanks to my role model-authors outside of Wattpad, Jenna Moreci and Neal Shusterman, who will never know that their writing styles and tips inspired me to write Trust the way I did :P And Thanks to all of you for reading Trust! Thank you to those of you who read until the end, and to those of you who even commented and voted on chapters, because you give names to what would otherwise only be plain numbers of reads.
Originally, I had only started Trust because I'd become irritated with too many clichè-stories of shy, traumatized virgins, and cold, but also traumatized, fuckboys. I never specifically searched for them, but I somehow still managed to stumble upon a lot of them. It annoyed me that there are so many stories in which people who haven't had sex are apparently unable to be confident, and where people who have a lot of sex can't do it for the sole reason of enjoying themselves. (Oh, how beautiful a world would be that doesn't stereotype people into being ashamed of their casual/serious/non-existent/bdsm/whatever sex life.) After reading way too much about over-clichéd characters whose traits were entirely based on their sex life, I got annoyed enough to decide to write a story with two protagonists who you could label a 'fuckboy' and a 'virgin', but with as little clichés as possible (like Wooyoung telling everything in first-person perspective, San making almost all the first moves in their relationship, ...). I hope I succeeded at least a bit with that :')
