Ok so i just wanted to share what I think of their hero costumes ahahaha

Final design:

So for Hoshiko's I actually found attires on pinterest similar to this and I really liked the idea of having fitted clothing under some baggy/ flowy ones

So for Hoshiko's I actually found attires on pinterest similar to this and I really liked the idea of having fitted clothing under some baggy/ flowy ones.

Plus I'm a real sucked for jackets.

So her fitted suit underneath is supposedly some strong material designed by the support course for her that would make things lighter for her, but since she doesnt exactly like the thought of show-y fitted attires she chose to wear the yellow shorts and jacket.

I designed this simple tops to be flowy and light as well as giving off her rather 'bright' personality. These kinds of clothing, although simple is actually a good way to hid things like smaller weapons underneath. Like a small knife around one of her legs or a harness under her jacket that hides small tools like gas/smoke bombs etc.

She also actually has yellow tinted shades that Yamada gave her but she barely uses them because of the thought it might break in battle and injure her in the process and that she thinks its way to valuable for her to use (since its technically Yamada's first gift to her, like Aizawa's cat plushie to Mochi).

First runner up Design:

The design one is actually a very similar design but I just thought that the pose and the over all design didn't fit as well as I felt as if I added way to much details when it could be simplified a little further

Of course I think I sgoukd have kept the utility belt, but now that I think of it, I could just do a harness around her torso instead since there are barely any designs with that type of style.

And for the body suit, I thought that it would be a bit of Hoshiko's style to be extra and all on being confident, but the way I designed the suit didn't really sit right with me, because I think a girl could show how confident that are without being extra showy

Plus the fact that the one piece swimsuit- like attire has been a quite popular design for hero costumes just to be able to show that they are 'sexy' and 'confident' in which I can say that its not always the case.

Oh and you can see the shades here, but as stated earlier, I think Hoshi wouldn't be wearing it if it was Yamada's first gift to her as her 'dad'.

Second runner up Design:

Now this design is actually a bit annoying for me because I thought that the over all color scheme was bland (the plain black and grey with no undertones whatsoever) and the longer baggier Jacket just doesnt match her, especially with her roasting...

Now this design is actually a bit annoying for me because I thought that the over all color scheme was bland (the plain black and grey with no undertones whatsoever) and the longer baggier Jacket just doesnt match her, especially with her roasting Shohei for having baggy clothes like Aizawa (despite her having her own baggy clothes which she uses for 'fashion' rather than sleepwear).

Aside from that I just thought that it was quite a boring design with the contrasting black and light grey, which can be quite overused in other heroes.

As well as the leggings and almost bra type of top. Although I did want a not so showy attire, this design just didn't seem to spark something in me that said 'Hoshiko'

I recycled the face from this one to the one I picked out hahahaha

And now for Shohei...

for Shohei... I technically didn't change much in his design from my initial idea.

This is the final

And this is the initial designs

I actually like this design since there isnt much changes... I just cringed at the anatomy and how wonky it looks. Mostly because this is one of my artblock works.

As you can see the initial design actually has more variations, which I do actually want to have on, but I thought that maybe having the jacket could be a hustle for him

And although he'd want to dress completely like his dad, he can't do that so I thought that having a nice fitted suit would give a little more change compared to Aizawa's design. And I do think Shohei would enjoy moving around without feeling the looseness of his attire.

Of course I do want to add in a jacket, but I think it would be mostly unzipped for easier access to the harness that holds the blade handle for his energy-based weapons. And who the hell doesnt like the feeling of your jacket flowing  with the wind?

Anyways I just wanted to show you a little bit about how I work on certain designs like these hehehe

Hope you liked it!
