"She's early!" My mom and Sammy's mom squeel as they run through the hospital with me. "We still have two and half months left!"
"Well what do you want me to say?!" I yell back at them "her fucking water broke!"
"Ahhhh!" I hear Sammy yell from the room
We rush in and I grab her hand, letting her squeeze it as she pushes as hard as she can.
My mom rubs my back as Sammy's mom takes her other hand.
"Oh I can't do it!" Sammy yells with sweat pouring from her face, matting her hair down.
"Yes you can!" The moms yell back "keep pushing!"
"I'm gunna be a grandma!" My mom yells, bouncing up and down
The dads stand in the corner, a look of horror and longing in both of their eyes.
"I'm gunna be a dad!" I yell
"Yeah! We are all gunna be somebody, now can you GET THIS BABY OUT OF ME?!" Sammy screams
"Push!" The nurse says, smiling "you can do it, girl! Push!"
"Ahhh!" Sammy pushes
"Another one!"
"Ahhh!"
"One more, she's coming!"
"Ahhhh!"
Suddenly baby cries fill the room and everyone goes dead silent.
Sammy breaths hard, looking worn out
My baby rests in the nurses hands and I see that the baby looks just like Sammy. The same big brown eyes and thick brown hair. With the same nose and lips.
And I feel myself getting light headed. "I'm a dad" I say before everything goes black as I hit the floor.
