Staring at the ceiling, I recalled the words Chifuyu told me last night. Despite of what happened that day, butterflies finally came flying to my stomach enough for me to roll over my bed. Smiling cheekily like an idiot, I can already imagine myself getting teased by my brother.
No one's ever said me that.
"Maybe he just said that out of drama. Yeah yeah (Y/n) stop assuming. We'll not date anyone right? Why am I even going straight to dating anyways?? It's not that I like him or anything--"
"(Y/n)-san who are you talking to?" A blonde head suddenly peaked coming from the door startling me before I fell to my bed, bumping my head to the wall. What a great day I have.
"DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO KNOCK FIRST BEFORE COMING IN?? WHAT IF I'M NAKED?!!" I scolded, throwing him a pillow.
"Hehe."
"Don't hehe me you bastard!! What are you doing here anyway?!" I spat, rubbing my sore head that hit the wall.
"Wanna go get ice cream?" He grinned as if nothing happened.
"Hmm sure I guess?" I replied, standing up from the floor.
"By the way aren't you talking to someone?" He tilted his head at me while I put on a jacket.
"No you're just delusional."
"Ehhh? Pretty sure I heard you say 'it's not that I like him or anything--"
"Like I said, you're being delusional. Maybe you just lack sleep or maybe too stressed."
Don't let him get you (Y/n).
"Hmmm makes sense." He shrugged as I sighed in victory, exiting my room with him.
"But it really sounds so real--"
"YOSHHHHH LET'S GO THE ICE CREAM'S WAITING!!"
After spending Chifuyu's money on ice cream, we took a little stroll before going to Mikey's house since Draken needs help in handling Mikey who was insisting to bake cookies by himself.
"Neh Chifuyu do you ever think why Kisaki was doing all of this?" I said while licking my ice cream, kicking autumn leaves on the ground.
"He's just an asshole that's why." He replied, boredly looking at the surroundings before landing his eyes at me.
"What's your problem?" I raised an eyebrow at him before seeing his hands approach my face, wiping off the stain of ice cream left in the corner of my lips, licking it off in his thumb afterwards.
"Yum."
"O-OI!!" I furiously blushed, my whole face glowing red as Chifuyu laughed before galloping ahead.
"Is-- is his head okay...?" Muttering to myself as I stared to space, processing the whole unbelievable thing until the scoop of my ice cream entirely melted and dropped to floor, me shedding a tear to everything happening today. Seeing Chifuyu move farther away, I slowly ate the cone left in my hands, my face still in its crimson state as I muttered profanities in my breath. I'm already stressing many things in life and this just adds up to the list of what I'm concerned everyday.
