62) A Fight to Learn From

*Lychee's pov*

How did I end up here again? Oh ya I went with Divinus Magia and La Carnival to go fight off Devil's Tongue. Now I'm standing here they have one of the members hostage although seeing from what is going on it's not going to be in the guilds favor. I looked at Apate who was standing next to me.

"It's not going to work. If she doesn't have powers then she's useless. They won't want her." Apate pointed out

"I know it's an unfortunate fact but you and I should know this fact very well. Huh Apate." I said and Apate sighed.

"Good luck with what ever happens next I'm not going to stick around." Apate said leaving. The leader walked out and I decided to step forward while they talked so I was right in front of everyone.

"Who are." She asked

"My name's Lychee and yes as in the fruit get it correct." I said sassing her a bit which was fun.

"You feen you will respect the queen." Zaine I remember his name being said.

"Oh shut up, I don't respect royalty because it's a load of crap because people want to stay organized." I said and I watched as their leader looked at me

"Lychee move away!" Ritchie yelled

"No! Ritchie you listen to me this plan as soon as you grabbed her was a fail. It's a cruel thing to think about but if she doesn't have magic she's not useful and people like them have no use for those kinds of people. If you really wanted a bargain chip you should have grabbed someone of a higher rank." I said bluntly.

"Oh? Someone who understands." The leader said and I looked at her.

"I know because I've dealt with people like you before. Brandeen was similar to your messed up ways." I said

"How so?" The dragon slayer asked.

"Because those who are weak get killed off and he uses their bodies to let demons inhabit them." I said as Apate showed up.

"You where willing Lychee but Davis was another thing." Apate said as she glared at the guild, geuss she did want to join now that I'm actually confronting them

"Little history about us congratulations." I said before summoning my double scythe.

"Oh fancy." The red haired masked person said

"Thanks." I said before I dashed forward. I was right in front of the cloaked cat dude before a attack separated us and I flipped back and put away my scythe.

"Your fast." The masked one said

"I'm done with this. Celestial Embodiment, Grand Chariot!" Leader yelled

"I know this isn't over." I said before the attack hit the ground sending all of us flying.

*Monty's pov*

"Monty I want you to go kill the clown girl." My sister said and I nodded.

"That Lychee one was interesting." Biblico said

"He got extremely close to you." I said

"Yes that was, actually frightening. His angered face and those red and black eye. It was a person holding the pit of hell in their own body." Biblico said

"He was interesting but that demon that stood next to him mentioned that he was willing." My sister said

"Yes he willingly excepted a demon into his body." I said

"Keep an eye out for that one and any of his friends I don't like them." Sister said and I nodded before leaving.

*Brandon's pov*

I groaned as I got up and looked around me. I sat down and looked over at Ritchie, David, and Lucas as they all began to wake up.

"Oh! Ok that was something." Lucas said looking at a body. I got up and jumped up and looked at the dead body of Celeste.

"Well she's dead." David said

"Not nice." I said

"Lychee wasn't lying." Ritchie said

"I geuss not." I said

"He said he had a lot of experience with this kind of thing if he knew this was going to happen the moment we grabbed her." Lucas said

"Why did he come with us again?" Ritchie asked

"He saw us go and Mario mentioned it to him and he tagged along." David recalled for us

"Ya I just saw him in the group and thought ok." Lucas said

"Alright besides the point are we not going to say anything about a dead body?" Ritchie said

"Looks like the attack was aimed at this young lady." Lucas said but when I looked at Lucas he was in his god slayer form but different colors.

"Give Lucas back, Galrin." Ritchie said and I looked at Lucas's god.

"Fine you can have the boy back." Galrin said

"What is this and why does Lucas's god have control?" I asked

"Long story." Lucas said taking a deep breath and got out of his form.

"Well go ahead and tell us it's not like we're going anywhere." I said sitting down.

"Really?" Lucas asked and Ritchie chuckle and nodded.

"Alright fine. So we got back from Salode. I was reminded that I needed to pay off some dept to a clothes shop because we got outfits but we have a tab for them. On the way there I got knocked out and taken by Abraham." Lucas said

"Oh? This is interesting." I heard a voice say and I looked over and saw Lychee.

"I see you where closer to us." I said and he nodded.

"Continue on don't mind me." Lychee said and Lucas sighed.

"He told me to tell you two to step down from guild leader position. However because I prefer having my neck I told him no. He doesn't like the magic counsel and wants it gone." Lucas said

"Ahaha you know what would have happened huh." Ritchie said

"Ya, reason I said no, but to wrap it up got shocked several times passed out and Galrin became reconnected with me because I lost my connection with Galrin when we went to Salode." Lucas said

"And now me the boy have the deal. I can have control every now and then as long as I don't kill anyone." Galrin said taking control.

"That's fun. Anyways we should leave." Lychee said

"Your friends with that Cal boy right?" Galrin asked

"I am what if it?" Lychee said as I got up.

"Oh nothing just seeing if your as interesting as Cal." Galrin said before leaving.

"So ya that's what my deal is now." Lucas said

"Well as long as your ok I have no problems with this." I said as we all started walking

"What about the dead body?" Lucas asked

"You want to carry it to the guild?" I asked

"Nevermind." Lucas said and David started cracking up.

"Don't worry at least she died a quick painful death." Lychee said.

"I don't know if that's a good thing." Ritchie said

"It's better then a slow and painful death."
