Chapter 14

Riley's POV
After school me and Amanda are just sorting out the details about going dress shopping, when I hear someone beep their car horn at me. When I look to see who it is, I notice its Charlie. I'm confused why he's here, I told him I didn't need a ride home.
"I'll be back in a minute" I tell Amanda as I go up to his car. He opens the car door and I get I but I leave the car door open so he don't drive off "what are you doing here"

"Your stopping at my house the week, so I'm gonna take you home and your going to get your stuff" I'm confused, since when did I decide this

"What"

"I've spoke to your mom, she's cool with it, and I just want to spend some alone time with you." He pushes my hair out of my face, which I hate cos every time he does that, I'm worried he'll make a move and I haven't decided on my feelings, I don't even wanna stay at his house, but I'm not going to tell him that

"I'll be right back" I get out and close the car door so he cannot hear what I say

"Who's the hottie" she asks, looking at Charlie

"He's from my old school and apparently I'm meant to be staying at his house all week" I say a little worried

"What's so bad about that" she doesn't seen to find anything wrong with Charlie

"It means I'm going to be quite far from home and sleeping in the same bed as him, right next to him all week," I explain

"You'll be fine, just call me if you anything or just call me for whatever okay?" I nod and walk back to his car, I get in and close the door and he drives off

James's POV
As I walking to my car I see Riley walk away from Amanda and into some guys car, I'm a little jealous cos I usually drive Riley, I go over to Amanda to ask her what's going on
"Who's Riley with"

"A boy from her old school, shes staying at his house all week" I don't like the sound of this, if she's staying at his house she's probably going to be sleeping in the same bed as him and to know that, it just won't feel right. But its Riley, he probably knows her a lot more than I do, she could be a player but how do I know.

"Oh okay"

"But tomorrow, Wednesday, I need you to come with me dress shopping, not for me though, its for another girl and I need a boys perspective on it" when she avoids saying who it is, I'm curious so I find myself agreeing to

"Okay"

Riley's POV
Right now I'm in my room packing to go stay with Charlie, I'm nervous cos I don't want anything I would regret to happen, which is why I told him to wait in the car, in taking my time cos the more time I waste, the less time I have to stay there. I go downstairs trying to waste time when I see Emily, she signals for me to sit down

"So I hear your staying with Charlie all week huh, I'm glad you two thought this out fully last night"

"What do you mean, I didn't know until he picked me up from school-" my voice fades realizing that it had nothing to do with being my choice as Emily and my mom must have been told

"So he's lied, but your still going to stay there" I know Emily, she's just trying to look out for me but I'm going to show everyone I'm not afraid of this,

"Yeah," I get up and go to my room avoiding further conversation, I pack up my make up, school stuff, clothes, a lot of clothes. And by the time I'm ready its 6 and I know I can't waste anymore time. I go downstairs, say bye to my sis and then into Charlie's car

"What took you so long, you've been packing for hours" he moans

"I had to makes sure I had everything and spares, it takes a long time" he drives over to his house and then for the rest of the night we just have a great time, I forgot about James, Eldon and everyone, it was just me and him, also his parents and jack aren't home all week so it actually was just me and him. In the morning, I get ready he drives me to school, and for a second I wish I was at my old school, but that thought soon leaves my head as I think of James.

Since its Wednesday today, I told Charlie that I'm going out with some friends so he didn't need to pick me up, and when school ends me and Amanda head over to her favorite dress place and honestly it was amazing all the clothes and dresses are beautiful, I grab about 7 dresses before going into the dressing rooms. When I try on outfit A I walk out and notice Amanda isn't the only one there, James is now sitting in another chair next to me

"What at eyou doing here I ask"

"He's here to give a boys perspective on your outfits"

"Yeah and the dress does not suit you"

"Yeah I've gotta agree" Amanda says agreeing with James. Up until outfit e and F they don't like them but they seem to like them, I'm wearing F which is a blue short silk dress and Amanda has got up a photo of me in the pink dress, so were discussing which is best,
"The pinks really pretty but the blue has more of a party style"

"Yeah the pick one is more of a night with James outfit" he says laughing, we just glare at him "I'm kidding but the blue Is the better one" so I get the blue dress and go to Charlie's but I'm no longer so sure now after what I hear
