Before the truth

Chapter 31

Riley's POV
I'm getting ready for mine and James's 'date' when I asked him about it, he just said its a surprise. I'm really excited but nervous. I'm excited to finally go on a date with James. But nervous because what if I'm not prepared for the type of Date.

"Stop being so nervous" Emily tells me, I told Emily about my date with James cos, she's my sister. And I can't sneak out so she's gonna cover for me. It does feel bad to have to hide the relationship from my mom and Dad but if they had found out, I'll lose James and I love... Like i mean like James very much. I can't imagine losing him "you look beautiful" Emily tells me as I take one last look in the mirror. I'm officially ready to go out on my date with James "you ready" Emily had spoken to James and had arranged for her to take me to wherever James is taking me. So that my parents don't see me getting in James' car. Emily pulls up to where I see James standing waiting for me. I step out of the car to in front of him

"You look beyond beautiful" he says, I blush, he can be really sweet when he wants to be

"Thank you" I smile, he offers his hand out to me

"Shall we" I take his hand

"We shall" I giggle. He takes me to this fancy restaurant. And he takes me to a table he reserved. Its amazingly decorated. Once we have ordered our food, we begin to talk. The more I know, the more I like about him. He takes my hand and places it on his palm the covers my hand with his other hand

"You're my mysterious girl, and I love that about you. I may not be able to fully figure you out, but the mystery is apart of you" I smile at his comment. He basically told me that he's not annoyed with the fact that I don't speak about my past and the truth to what happened, but he loves the mystery in me to figure out "without you, I don't know how I'll be"
Once we were done at the restaurant we go back to James' car. I thought he was driving me home until he turns the wring way

"Where are you going, this is the wrong way" I remind him

"What do you mean"

"My house, you've gone the wrong way"

"Oh no, I did that on purpose, the dates not over yet. We're going somewhere else now" I kinda relax, hearing that. I'm haply the dates not over for some reason. Its quite dark outside now. James stops the car and I'm not sure where we are. "Follow me" he said squeezing my hand as though he knew I was confused. He takes me out to this hidden place. Its got candles lit around it.

James's POV
I planed to take Riley to my 'secret spot' I found this place when I was about 10, and no one else has ever come here since, Riley is the first person I've told, well shown. I'm took away by the beauty of her whilst she standing there. I'm not dating her because she's beautiful, I'm dating her because of the Riley I've became to know. But she has some natural beauty too. We some how end up dancing to our duet we choreographed and learnt. I put the music on for it on my phone and we end up dancing. The position we end in, I hold her closer than usual. Riley is really important to me, I haven't felt how I feel about her, about anyone else. I'm glad she came, if I never had met her, I wouldn't have developed these feelings... Probably not for anyone. We keep hold of the ending position for longer than we should, I stare into her eyes. And I'm reminded if everything I like best about her. I hug her tightly, as though someone is standing by and is ready to snatch her off me as soon as I let her go, but I'm not gonna let her go. I finally have her, I'm not gonna lose her now...
