Ah Crap the tide!" Pope exclaimed as the Pogues saw the water that had risen a lot from a couple hours ago.

"This doesn't look good." John B said with dread.

"How deep is that?" Kie looked at the muddy water.

"I dunno, road's gone." John B answered, stopping in front of it.

"Tide rose faster than I thought it would." JJ stated.

"Just a little bit." Sage agreed sarcastically.

"John B how high are the spark plugs?" JJ said with uncertainty.

"They're good." John B lied.

"John B." Sage warned him. The last thing they needed right now was losing the Twinkie.

"We'll be fine!" John B said with false hope.

"How high are they?" Pope asked again.

"Oh- Uh," John B looked out the window, "Just above the taillight."

"Okay so that's what? Three feet?" Pope asked.

"That's three feet. Yeah." Sage agreed.

"That water can't be three feet deep." Kie told them.

"So then what's the problem?" John B questioned.

"Not a problem. No we're good! We're good! She'll make it!" JJ said, giving him a confidence boost.

"Ladies and Gentlemen fasten you seat belts. Hold onto something we're going into hyperdrive." John B said making them grab onto their seats.

"I'll say a quick prayer." JJ said as he crossed his heart.

"Three, two, one-,"

They launched back as John B stepped full force on the peddle. They waited to get out of the middle, hyping the boy up to get the car through the swamp water.

"Faster! Faster!"

"Speed is your friend! Speed is your friend John B!"

"Oh my god! Oh my god!"

As soon as they thought they would make it they slipped, swerving to the right and into deeper water.

John B stepped on the breaks with panic, "No no no no no." John B said in panic.

"I think we miscalculated." Pope stated.

Sage looked at the boy incredulously, "No shit!"

"I knew I should have driven." JJ muttered.

They all eventually got out, all of them standing knee deep in muddy water.

"Okay. Maybe we can walk from here." Pope said.
