A Pogues life- A JJ love story

Chapter seven- Redfield Lighthouse

3rd POV

The five Pogues jumped out of the car and looked at the old lighthouse.

"Alright here's whats gonna happen, you're gonna post up and look out for bogeys okay?" John B said to Pope, JJ, and Sage.

"Wait why am I not going with you?" She asked her brother.

"Because I need you to watch and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid." John B said pointing to JJ.

"So Wait why am I not going?" Pope asked.

"To make sure that they both don't do something stupid." John B said.

"Alright babysitting the babysitter, okay." Pope answered.

"If we get split up we met back a JJs house." John B said. Then him and Kie walked away heading toward the lighthouse.

"I'm gonna work on my merit scholarship essay. And I'm trying to keep felonies to a minimum. So both of you don't do anything stupid." Pope said walking towards the car.

"And please don't kiss a lot or in front of me, cause that's just nasty." Pope added making JJ and Sage look at each and then at Pope.

"Um what?" Sage asked panicking. Pope looked at her with a really look.

"You don't think I know but I do. Just remember John B will kick you ass if he finds out you're not following Pogue rules." He said before turning around into the car.

"We should have known. He's to smart." JJ said.

"What if John B knows?" Sage said looking at JJ. He chuckled and shook his head.

"Nah John Bs smart but not that smart." JJ reassured her.

He grabbed her hand and pulled them behind a tree. He looked down at her and smiled. He leaned in a kissed her lips softly. The kissed for a decent amount of time before they broke apart and sat down.

He laid his head on her lap and she messed with his blonde hair, twirling it through her fingers.

"Hey," she said grabbing his attention, "how's home?" She asked.

She knew about JJs life at home, and his abusive father. She's only seen JJ bruised a couple times, but she knows it's because he tries to hide it from her.

"It's, you know, the usual." JJ said, not wanting to lie and say it was good.

"You gonna stay at my place or go home tonight?" She asked. JJ looked at her, her face worry written all over it.

"Are you seriously worry about me?" He asked her. "The girl basically running from foster care is worrying about me?" She chuckle at his statement.

"I can't help it. You shouldn't have to deal with that. No one should." She said, still running her fingers through his hair.

"Hey," JJ said sitting up to look at her straight in the eyes. "I'm fine. Thank you for worry about me, but I'm ok."

She smiled and him and kissed him. As he kissed back it started to get more heated as he inched closer to her as they kissed.

To JJ this was a dream becoming reality. He's had a crush on this girl since the 3rd grade. When he was with her he felt his best. Like no one could hurt him anymore, that he could live happily ever after with her.

Sage never felt this happy. She had a crush on the boy for a couple years now, and now she's with him. Yes they had to keep on low profile, but it was worth it. With JJ she didn't have a worry in the world. She didn't have to worry about the DCS or where her next paycheck was coming from, or if a kook was just around the corner to start a fight. She felt at peace when she was with JJ.
