"get out! you're not welcomed here anymore."
tears were streaming down my face as i brought myself to my feet and ran for the door before being pulled back.
"take this lesson with you."
a sharp pain came to my nose and i stumbled to the floor. out of the corner of my eye i could see him walking away so i took my chances. i quickly got off the floor and swung the front door open, running out of the house and down the street. i looked around with the vision i had until i found the right house. i walked up to the dark blue painted house and knocked on the door.
it opened a few seconds later and i was instantly pulled inside.
"oh my god what happened to you?" lily asked closing the door behind her.it was almost eleven as she brought me into the kitchen and soaked a rag under warm water.
"did he...you know?"
i nodded and she pulled me into a hug.
"hey it's going to be okay, okay?"
"h-he kicked me out."
she looked down at the floor and sighed. "i knew this would happen."
i sat on her countertop as she wiped the blood away from my nose and i told her what happened. from what he said to me to when he hit me. i was a sobbing mess by the time she was finished.
"i d-don't want t-to go b-back." i mumbled into her shoulder.
her hand played with my hair knowing it calmed me down as the other rubbed my back. we nearly jumped as someone knocked on the door.
"go back and get what you can okay? i'll keep him here as long as i have to."
i nodded and went through the back door, taking off down the street and back to his house before he showed up. the door was left open so i ran inside and up the stairs to our shared bedroom. i grabbed a small duffle bag from under the bed and grabbed as many clothes and other things as i could. as soon as i zipped up the bag someone was charging up the stairs.
i ran over to the window and opened it practically shaking as the footsteps got closer. i pushed the bag out the window and climbed out after it when the bedroom door slammed open.
"please don't lea-"
i woke up covered in sweat. i looked around the room realizing i probably fell asleep after i had blown up the air-mattress. slowly, i got up, closing my eyes as the cold air hit me and stumbled my way into the bathroom. my eyes were red and puffy from what seemed like crying and my hair was sticking out in random directions as i looked at myself in the mirror.
i didn't care though.
i was used to looking like this.
i left the bathroom and shut the bedroom window before going over to the living room and sitting down on the cold floors. i pulled my backpack into my lap and pulled out my laptop and moved it to the side since i didn't have wifi, let alone electricity. i stuffed my hand down towards the bottom of the backpack and pulled out a packet of cigarettes and a lighter.
do it, you need release
so i did. i pulled a cigarette out of the packet and put it between my lips, flicking the lighter on and cupping a hand around it since one of the windows were open in here too. i closed my eyes as a puff of smoke escaped from my lips and i leaned back till i was laying fully on the floor.
see how nice it feels? keep going till you finish

around an hour later i had finished the cigarette till it was merely a stub. i layed in the same position, this time playing around on my iphone and ignoring texts and calls from people. why did anyone even care? i was fine.
i decided going against meeting all my neighbors till i thought it was right. besides, i was comfortable. and if they wanted to meet me then they can walk over here themselves. my thoughts trailed off to my neighbor next door though, what the man had said to me did leave a chill running down my back but surely he could just be crazy.
right?
i put my phone down and stared up at the ceiling, making out small patterns as my thoughts clouded up one by one.
i'm sure it's nothing
i can leave my house whenever i want
but why was i so scared though?
i know he had to have been lying
but at the same time it felt like he wasn't
oh luke, why don't you just find out for yourself?

HAHAHAH i love shit chapters
