Matt's POV: After driving around town, I sighed when we looked everywhere for a Chinese place. But unfortunately, there wasn't one to be found. "You sure that we have looked everywhere for a Chinese restaurant Gabby? Because I still haven't seen one." That's when Gabby got a text from Jay and Erin. 'Nope, sorry...only fast food restaurants here.' Gabby then sighed when she read that text. "Okay, what is bothering you babe? And don't say nothing because I already know that isn't the truth." Gabby just turned to look at me and sighed. "Apparently, there is no Chinese place here in town. There is only fast food restaurants." I sighed when she said that. "That makes a little bit of sense considering this is mostly a vacation place." Gabby nodded and agreed.

"Honestly, now I don't even know what I want." I nodded when she said that. "If you want, we can head to the next town over." Gabby then looked at me and gave me the side eye. "Or not...what's wrong with that idea?" Gabby then went to yell at me. "I don't know...OUR KIDS ARE NOT IN THE SAME TOWN AS US." I sighed when she said that before deciding to pull over into a parking lot because I had this feeling that she needed to talk to me. Parking the van, I turned to look at her. "Gabby, you okay?" Gabby sighed as she looked at me. "It's just weird having the kids with someone other than family right now. I know we won the bet but..." I then went to finish her thought. "You'd rather be in the same house as them just in case something happens."

Gabby sighed when I said that and nodded. "Is that wrong?" Going to grab her hand and reaching over the center console to turn her head, I shook my head before going to kiss her softly. "It's called being a mother and being worried for your kids. Gabby, you think this is easy on me? I am scared too. Our kids are with people who aren't even parents yet." Gabby laughed when I said that. "Remind me what we were thinking about?" I nodded and smiled at her. "Let me guess, you would like to just be close to them?" Gabby shook her head. "No, I just need to be in the same town and resting with you. Is it wrong that I don't want to eat out right now?" I shook my head and laughed. "You know what I just realized...the restaurants are all closed."

Gabby looked at me when I said that and just laughed because that was the truth. "Oh my god, what were we thinking! Well, they aren't closed...they just aren't accepting eat in customers." I nodded when she said that. "We going to stay out or are we just going to head back to the Halstead Cabin?" Gabby looked at me when I asked her that and then went to play with my shirt. "We could always have a repeat of what led us to having the twins." I smiled when she said that and nodded. "Oh yeah. And there is a jacuzzi tub in the room right?" Gabby nodded when I said that and smiled at me. "Then we definitely are not going back to the cabin...we are going to go use that jacuzzi tub after we have supper in a hotel room and you take me to bed."

I smiled when she said that and agreed with her before going to kiss her softly. "Get out of the van." Gabby was confused when I said that. "Why?" I then went to undo my seatbelt before going to get out and walk around the van. Gabby then got out and just looked at me, very confused. "Matt, what are you doing? Tell me what's up because I am really lost right now." Walking up to her when she was outside, I went to bring her close to me and put my hands on her hips. That's when Gabby realized what I wanted. Wrapping her arms around my neck, Gabby went to kiss me slowly and just smiled as she held me close to her. Wrapping both my arms around her waist, I just took it slow with her before going to whisper to her. "Hotel suite, supper and then bath."

I then went to add something to the order. "Hotel suite, time in bed, supper and then bath." Gabby smiled when I said that. "You sir are addicted to sex." I nodded when she said that. "Don't you know it." Bringing her close to me before grabbing her hands and intertwining our fingers, I smiled as I went to kiss her. "I love you Gabby and I hope you know how proud I am to be your husband. You and the kids make me the happiest man in the entire world." Gabby smiled when I said that and then went to wrap her arms around me. "Listen, let's just get to the hotel. Thinking of us getting in the bath is making me want to just be alone with you...eating supper in bed and then we can just be alone. I don't remember the last time we were just alone for a night."

I sighed when she said that because I didn't like the sound of that. Going to lean against the van, I just sighed and teared up a bit. Seeing me cry, Gabby walked up to me and put her hands on my chest. "Hey, why are you crying Matt?" I then sighed and looked at her. "You not remembering the last time we were just alone for a night....that makes me feel so bad. That should never be the case. You are my wife Gabby and we should always make time for each other at least once a month....that's how often we need date nights. Please at least tell me that you think we've done it that often." Gabby sighed when I said that. "This is the first time we've been without the kids since we had to quarantine at that hotel." I then sighed when I heard that.

"That just sounds horrible and wrong. And for that I am really sorry Gabby. Listen, let's just head to the hotel...we can get undressed, I can give you a massage, order us some supper and then we can make love. I think that is what we need. And no thinking about the kids tonight...tonight let's think about us and our marriage." Gabby nodded when I said that. "You don't think that there's something wrong with our marriage do you Matt?" I shook my head when she asked me that. "Hey, of course not...I just mean that we need to put each other first for a while. I feel like I have been putting the job first for a while and I regret that. I need to remember that I am your husband and the kid's father first. Tonight, I am going to make it up to you. And tomorrow, I am going to make it up to the kids...how does that sound?"

Gabby sighed when I said that. "Listen, we'll talk about that at the hotel. But I would love it if you just concentrated on me tonight. Now let's go...I want that massage first." I agreed and laughed, giving her a quick kiss before letting her go so that we could make our way to the hotel.
