"Your what?" He looked at me with a nervous face.

"You heard me pretty damn well." I gritted my teeth. "You have seconds to answer me before I get you killed"

"Woah woah woah, calm down Hea"

"Don't fucking tell me to calm down, start explaining" I got closer to bed and grabbed my mom's wallet. I opened it, and it had all her documents inside, it even had blood stains in and out, I actually wanted to throw up.

"Hey, I can explain, I assure you I have nothing to do with it, but you have to calm down" he got closer to me, reaching for my hands, which I shook off.

"Don't touch me"

"Fine, I won't" he raised his palms. "Sit down"

"No, You sit down, I'll make the rules here." I commanded. My face must be yelling anger right now, as he obeyed me.

"Start." I tried my best to calm down, but i was burning inside. My head was filled with mixed feelings between anger, fear, confusion, doubts.

"I took it from my old working place"

"You'll have to explain much more than just that" I dared.

"The day I got fired, I overheard a conversation between the boss and a co-worker, when they got out, I went in and took this, I swear I didn't know it belonged to your mom, I didn't even know you back then"

"What where they talking about?" I bit my nails. Something was not making sense, since that wallet is from years ago.

"I don't quite remember well, something about a closed case." His answers were weird, short. I wasn't going to get anything out of him the easy way.

"Wait there" I commanded, making my way out to the living room while I put on my clothes. I came back, pointing my gun to him.

"God, Hea, calm down" he flinched as soon as he saw me.

"Listen Minho. You're not giving me any useful answers, you're talking ambiguously. You either tell me exactly what happened or I'll put a bullet right here" I placed my gun on his forehead. The thing is, he didn't even try to move away, he just stared at me...why?

"I know you won't shoot"

"Why are you not answering my questions?"

He sighed. "That day, I walked towards the exit with my stuff. Before heading to the main hall, I heard the boss whispering. I've always been curious about everything so I decided to hide and listen to his conversation.

He was talking about the wallet I guess. I think he said something about why was the wallet still around, he mentioned "the case", mentioned a "he" and also mentioned "the daughter who commited suicide", which I'm guessing is you."

"A "he"?"

"Mhm" he nodded, "they said something like "he left it here"

"Who?"

"I have no idea"

"Are you telling the truth-"

"I know you don't trust me, but I'm not lying to you. I would never"

"Why did you take the wallet?" I rolled my eyes.

"Once they got out of the office, I went in and saw the wallet. I took it out of pure curiosity, and also because I wanted to mess with them. They were actually planning on getting rid of it"

I hesitated. This situation changed everything, I couldn't possibly trust Minho now, not untill I could prove he was telling the truth.

I retreated the gun from his head and walked a few steps back.

"This is what we're going to do" I Checked everything inside the wallet. I noticed my mom's ID documents had her real last name, Ryu. She used to have a fake ID with a fake last name, just in case.

"You're gonna investigate this"

"I got fired from there, remember?"

"I don't care, you have no choice. You call or go by yourself and see what else can you get regarding this. You'll tell me who's the "he" you're mentioning, and what does the police report say about that day."

"Hea, thats-"

"Quiet." I closed the wallet, looking back at him. "I'll give you three days." I turned around, signaling for him to follow me. We had to go back to the mansion, I had to talk to Hyunjin.

I thought the way back was going to be awfully quiet, but Minho kept throwing small sentences explaining himself. It seemed like he did want me to believe him, but it wasn't that easy, no matter what he said.

"I came that day back to my apartment to look for information about your mom's name. I was just curious about the case, but I found nothing online, I swear."

I remained silent.

"I promise you Hea, I took it because I wanted to mess with them, I didn't know. When I learned your last name, it sounded familiar to me, but I didn't know from where. It all makes sense now"

"Nothing you say Can possibly soften me down, Minho. Untill You prove otherwise, I don't trust you"

His eyes yelled frustration, he was overwhelmed.

"What about today...? Didn't you feel anything-"

"This changes the situation"

"Well... it doesn't change it for me." He said, in a very serious tone. I looked at him, he seemed very sure of what he was saying. I couldn't say anything else, I was very confused; I just wanted to get home and talk things out with Hyunjin.

3rd POV

"Sir, you must come with me"

"What's wrong?"

"It's important, please follow me."

Felix stood up from his desk, following his maid. He put down his just lighted mint cigarette, bringing his hands into his pockets.

He followed the maid all the way to his house's rooms. The maid stopped, turning to the side and opening the door for him, bowing. He eyed her, before entering the room.

"Wow" he chuckled. "What's that popular saying?" He moved a chair towards him and sat down, fingers intertwined. "Weeds are not killed by the frost" he smiled.

"It's also "Devil looks after his own" "

"True, true" Felix leaned forward, resting his elbows over his legs. "How's the head ache?"

"Tch, how funny. Keep it like that and I won't be saying shit"

"Your choice, you're not supposed to be here anyway"

"Where am I supposed to be then?"

"Oh hell, for sure! That's where we're all goi-"

"He's working for them"

"Who?"

"Minho. He's working for the Hwangs"

Felix raised his brows, scoffing. "Are you certain?"

"I saw him"

"Well damn us" he laughed. It was surprising, but perfect at the same time. There wasn't a single thing Felix didn't use to his favor, and it always worked well for him.

"It's his fault I ended up this way"

"Oh, don't blame him! You suck so much, you did that to yourself. But don't worry too much, this will be fun" he stood up from his chair and got closer to the bed.

"I'll be back in a while, I can't get wait to hear the full story, Chanie!"
