Gale walked up on stage. It's bad enough with Prim and now Gale I thought. "The district 12 tributes of the 75th Hunger Games." Prim and Gale were rushed into the Justice Building, and me and Peeta went after them.
The peacekeepers took us into the room where Prim was. I ran and hugged her. Prim was crying, and my heart nearly broke. "Prim look at me." She looked up." You're going to win the Hunger Games, you're smart, resourceful, and Gale will protect you."Prim looked at her and put on a brave face,"Okay." I smiled,"and you have the greatest mentors in the world me and Peeta." Peeta smiled shyly. "Times up,"the peacekeeper said."KATNISS!!" Prim yelled.
I went into Gale's room by myself, it would be awkward if Peeta was in there. Gale hugged me," I guess you're my mentor Catnip." Yeah I guess so, oh Gale we should've run away earlier." "Maybe, but it's too late now," he said.
Then all of a sudden he kissed me. As we were kissing the peacekeepers barged in and I yelled as I was dragged out," KEEP PRIM SAFE!!" I never caught what he said.
