The next morning Peeta was shaking me awake,"What?" I mumbled."It's time for Prim and Gale to go to the games."

I sat up. "We'll go get ready," I said to Peeta. He went back to his room, and I got ready. I ran down ,and Gale was there,"Hey," I said."Hey Catnip." He walked up to me. Then he kissed me. Then he took my hand, and said,"I'll protect her," he said."See ya Catnip." Gale smiled and walked away.

I saw Prim running up to me she was crying. "Prim, Prim it's okay, It's okay. I stroked her hair. Cinna walked up to us. "Come on Prim," he said in a gentle voice. "Be brave Prim," I whispered😏Haymitch came running down the hall,"WAIT!!! Prim, Katniss remember who the real enemy is." We nodded. Cinna looked Prim and gave her a gold necklace with a pendant shaped like the sun.

"Come on let's go watch the Hunger games." Peeta said.
