Don't mistake my momentary attention for love;
Your desperate loneliness made you think
What I offered was anything more.
I’m known to be a vicious player
Of the game I designed;
Your efforts, pointless indeed.
It's impossible not to want
To toy with you
When you lay your feelings
Bare in my arms.
Unknown to the dangers I possess
You follow me like a lost puppy;
Too sincere for your own good
How do I let you know?
You got too comfortable;
Deaf, dumb, and blind in love.
