You fell from my embrace
And the day was marked the darkest.
It was a cold morning.
I took you far away from home.
And held you closer on our walk,
Before I forget how you felt;
Before I had to let you go.
My little petal
I lost you into the crowd,
under the sun.
On that tiny bed, white sheets with stains,
A little light inside me flickered for one last time.
In a room filled with strangers,
I said my goodbye.
