_______________________________________

The first time you seep in
Through my skin
And flow through my blood
You feel it thicker
Than the ocean water.

At places you find clumps
To block you from getting through
And when the freshness in blood
Fades away
The brown fluid is what you swim in.

The darkness and
Pressure getting to you
Racing into your body and out.
You want a way to my heart
Even if meant swimming against the current.

It isn't a home in my heart you pursue
Its the reason to be pushed
To every inch of my body
So we can go at it,
Again and again.

Does it hurt your pride
When you have to accept
Everything out there is stale
And you beseech this exhilaration?

Or are you afraid to believe
That the minute you turn dull
You can be expelled
Out of my body like toxin?
