I was beautifully created
And I was beautifully broken
It started with many unsettled conversations
And long distressed days.
I lead them to my heart
And they made my body a prison of flesh
Oh how my life changed in a night
Their hands burned my skin,
Leaving a scar wherever they touched.
A solitary tear trickled down my cheek
And I had nothing more to lose.
