Chapter 11: Why Him?

I sprung from the couch and over too the door not caring too put on my shoes. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and called Gerard not even caring about last night. He answered after 2 rings. "Y/N I'm so sorry! Please for--" I cut him off. "No time. Mikeys in the hospital. Go now I'll meet you there." I replied. I heard him make a small noise that sounded like crying. "Y-ya I'll be there." He said and hung up not even saying goodbye.

I kept running shoving my phone into my pocket. I finally made it after about 15 minutes. I ran into the hospital finally putting my shoes on. I ran up to the front desk and inpatiently waited for her to notice me. When she finally did I calmed down a little but more. "I'm here for visiting" I told her. "Name?" She asked. "Michael Way." I replied. She nodded and typed on the computer. She looked up at me. "Room 106." She told me.

I speed walked down the hallway until I finally reached the room. I ran in and saw Mikey laying there with his normal pokerface. I would normally be happy too see his pokerface but not this time. Gerard was sitting next to him with his face in his hands. He looked up at Mikey then at me. "... How did you know he was here?" He asked me. "It was on the news." I told him. He looked at me for a moment before looking back at Mikey.

"Why him?"
