Chapter 24: A Protective Gerard

We were going to the school to take me out today. Gerards been trying to convince his parents to take him out too so he can take care of me. So far I've only heard 'I'll think about it.' We finally arrived at school and by now Gerard was BEGGING to take him out. "Fine!" His mom said giving in. He smiled and hugged me. We all walked inside the school and to the desk waiting for someone to come talk to us. I noticed a mop of (h/c) hair sitting in the office arguing with the principle. I tapped Gerards shoulder and pointed to her. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow. After a few more minutes of waiting the lady was forced out of the school and the principle came out the her office. "Can I help you?" She asked in a happy tone. She smiled at me and then looked to Gerards parents. "Yes we need to take Y/N and Gerard out of school." Donald said. "Can I have a reason please?" She asked.

"..." Donna looked at me waiting for me to answer. "I'm pregnant." I whispered. The principle looked shocked but nodded typing the information into the computer. "Gerards reason?" She asked. "I'm the dad." He said. She nodded and typed it in. "Okay. I just have some paperwork that you both have to fill out." She said handing Donna and Donald a thin stack of papers. After reading the papers over and signing them they handed them to Gerard and I. "Read this page over and put your signatures." Donna told us. We read it over and signed our names. We handed them back to the principle and she gladly took them. "Okay! Well maybe you'll come back next year!" She said taking the papers and putting them in a file.

We all walked out of school Gerards arm around my waist. After that we went home and laid on the couch. Donna and Donald had to go to work. Gerard had his head in my lap again, facing my stomach talking to the baby. "Hey little buddy. Its daddy again. I think I'm going to tell you the story of how I met your mommy..."

Gerard talked to the baby all day. He really loves the fact that were going to have a mini him or a mini me. I love it too. Gerard started falling asleep in my lap and instead I gave him a pillow from the couch and walked to the closet in the hallway to get him a blanket. I heard him shuffle and roll around on the couch. I found a blanket under a lot of things. Not hard things just a lot of things. I tryed pulling the blanket out when everything fell down on me. "Ow!" I yelped out. I heard Gerard throw himself from the couch and run into the hallway. "Oh my god Y/N!" He said. He pulled all the stuff off me and looked at me. "Is the baby okay? Are you okay?" He asked in a worried tone.

"I'm fine." I told him. He held onto me refusing to let me go. "Never scare me like that. Ever." He said. I laughed a little and hugged him back.

He's so protective.
