after dicing the demon into small chunks of flesh, he lights the bitch on fire with Hellblaze, even if demons had regeneration abilities, Hellblaze counters it, Izuku then walks out of the temple and closes the door. Tanjiro makes it to the temple seeing Izuku standing in front of the temple
Tanjiro: What was inside it
Izuku: nothing you need to know about (Izuku lied as naturally as he breathed)
Tanjiro: I can smell that you're lying, something happened in there
Izuku: Something did happen, but if you want to see, open the door at your own risk, there are things inside that aren't suitable for you to see yet
Tanjiro ignores what Izuku said, and opens the temple door. He is in complete shock seeing what was inside the temple, almost half a dozen human corpses and the body of a demon that was covered in some black fire, Tanjiro goes to t9ouvh the fire out of curiosity, until Izuku stops him
Izuku: I wouldn't touch that if I were you, that black fire is Hellblaze, a fire that burns indefinitely, ignores any regeneration abilities, and is unable to be put out by anything, it also does not spread.
Tanjiro: Did... you do this?
Izuku: Killing the demon? Yes
suddenly, a man in a red mask puts his hand on Izuku's shoulder
???: You did quite well.
Izuku: Who the hell are you?
???: My name is Sakonji Urokodaki, you're the people Giyu Tokioka sent my way correct
Izuku: So you're the guy Giyu was talking about
Tanjiro: I am, I'm Tanjiro Kamado, and my sister's name is Nezuko
Izuku: I'm Izuku Midoriya
Sakonji: Both of you, what do you intend to do
Izuku: Rid the world of demons, and save Tanjiro's sister.
Sakonji: Tanjiro, you're too indecisive, you must learn to make decisions quickly, do you know why it took so long for you to answer my simple question because your resolve is too weak, there are two things both of you must do if Tanjiro's sister eats a human. First, you kill her, then you slit your belly and die, that's what traveling alongside a demon means.
Izuku: But I can't die though. Tanjiro, let me borrow your hatchet for a bit
Tanjiro: Uh... sure
Izuku then takes the hatchet cuts off his torso from his legs, his upper body slides off of his legs and falls to the ground
Tanjiro: What are you doing!
Izuku: I'm fine, give it a sec
some black liquid comes out of the wounds and connects the two portions back, Izuku then stands up and
Izuku: See?
Sakonji: Are you a demon?!
Izuku: If I was, y body would be disintegrating in the sunlight right now
after saying this, the sun rises from behind Izuku, the lighting shining onto Izuku's body with nothing happening to him.
Sakonji: I guess not then. Still, you must not allow that to happen no matter the cost, your sister taking the life of an innocent person is the one thing that can't happen ever, have I made myself clear.
Tanjiro: Yes
Izuku: Sure
Sakonji: Very well, I will test whether you're fit to become a member of the demon slayer corps Tanjiro. Carry your sister and follow me.
Izuku: What about me?
Sakonji: You have already proven yourself quite worthy, seeing that you have killed the demon, you have done more than some in the demon slayer corps
Sakonji then runs off and tells Tanjiro to follow him, Tanjiro is having a hard time catching up, Izuku is jogging, and is somehow keeping up with Sakonji running, slowing down for Tanjiro, he sees that Tanjiro is breathing quite heavily and seems to be very tired, with his face full of sweat.
Izuku: Tanjiro? You need a ride?
Tanjiro: no, I must do this test by myself, I won't piggyback off of someone else, I must do it for my sister
Izuku: Fair enough, Izuku then runs beside Tanjiro keeping him company.
Izuku, Tanjiro, and Sakonji ran from sunrise to sunset, finally making it to presumably be Sakonji's house. Tanjiro, upon making it to the house, kneeled onto the floor, drenched in sweat, Izuku was breathing heavier than he usually does, since he doesn't run a lot, but sunshine gives him more stamina than a large portion of the population, he is also quite large, so he takes in more air every breath.
Tanjiro: Okay, does this mean, does this mean, please tell me this means that I passed the test.
Sakonji: We're just beginning the test, we'll be climbing a mountain
Izuku: That's super easy, barely an inconvenience
Tanjiro: What?!
Izuku: I'm joking, it's gonna be pretty hard
Tanjiro walks into the house, placing down Nezuko on a bed,
Saikonji: I promise I'll take care of your sister for you while you're gone
Izuku: *I don't trust this man...*
Tanjiro: I do appreciate that sir
Tanjiro, Izuku and Sakonji walks into a misty forest
Sakonji: Now, find your way back to my house at the foot of the mountain, this time, I won't wait until daybreak
Sakonji then disappears into the mist
Izuku: I guess this is the test, give me a second *inhales* Hamon!

Izuku's Ark flows throughout his whole body, giving him an orange golden glow, lighting up the surrounding area. after taking a few steps, Izuku stops
Izuku: Tanjiro, stop, there's a tripwire here, Sakonji put these booby traps here for the test, watch every step you take.
Tanjiro: Thank you, who knows what would've happened if we triggered the tripwire.
Izuku: Also, breath slower, the air here is getting thin, each breath you take matters, take long deep breathes. It's going to take some time for us to get back down
With Izuku lighting up the area, the traps were quite easy to spot, but Tanjiro's breaths are getting quite thin, Tanjiro then stops right in his tracks. Izuku sees the concentration on his face and knows that Tanjiro is concentrating on his sense of smell, he opens his eyes and dashes right into the fog, Izuku runs behind him, dodging all the traps, he sees Tanjiro get slingshot up into the sky by a bamboo stick. Izuku then jumps up high to catch him and lands safely, dashing out of the forest s fast as possible, making it so that Tanjiro doesn't pass out. The two of them make it back to the house pretty much unscaved
