Prachi met her father first. He hugged her. Mr. O:"are you ok?" She nodded and hugged him again. Prachi:"Papa, i am sorry..." Mr. O:"why are you saying sorry? Whatever happened was not your fault. In fact i am sorry that i told you to help him." Prachi:"no Papa. You couldn't know. They masked their intentions well." Mr. O:"i am just happy and thankful that Ranbir was there." He noticed the small smile on her face.
Prachi, thinking about him:"he really took good care of me." Mr. O:"you should go and rest. I will see you later on." Prachi left while Mr. O was thoughtful.
Prachi rest for a while and woke up in the afternoon. Her head was still aching but it was just a bit now. She sleepily went into the kitchen.
Mrs O:"your dad told us everything. That boy is going to be punish soon." She hugged her. Prachi noticed the cupcakes that she made. Prachi, excitedly:"chocolate cupcakes." Mrs. O:"give it to Ranbir. And thank him properly." Prachi:"how will I give it to him? He is in office right now." Mrs. O:"then go there." Prachi:"no no. He seems very particular about his work. He might not like me disturbing him." Mrs. O:"how will you know until you go there? He might appreciate it. Plus you might like it as well." Prachi avoided:"ok Mamma. I will go now." She went to got ready and went to Ranbir's office.
Ranbir's office: Prachi stared at the building. Prachi, to herself:"he is surely getting angry for this. But now i have already come." She went to the reception and talked to the secretary. She went to the first floor after the secretary informed her to wait for a bit there. Ranbir was in meeting at that time in the boardroom. His employees were trained to be the best at their task. So there were no errors on their side.
Ranbir completed his meeting and came out when he noticed Prachi on her phone. He didn't have any personal assistant to inform him for the moment. He came to her while she was still busy.
Ranbir:"you should be resting at home." Prachi nearly dropped her phone hearing him all of the sudden. Ranbir:"Papa and Mamma sent me. I have an official work, Mr. Kohli." Ranbir looked at her and signed her to come to his cabin.
They entered his cabin. Ranbir:"what is the work?" Prachi shows him the box of cupcakes.
Prachi:"Saying thank you properly." Ranbir looked at her unbelievably. Ranbir:"that's your official work."
Prachi:"you wouldn't have listen to me otherwise." Ranbir, whispering to himself:"maybe i would have." Prachi:"did you say something?" He nodded no.
Prachi:"take." Ranbir:"the whole box is mine so keep it. I will have later on." Prachi grimaced and put the box on the table.
Ranbir:you can take if you want." Prachi:"if you had it i would have also. How can i eat alone?" Ranbir's secretary came there after knocking.
S:"sir, Mr Malhotra and his son are here to meet you. They didn't want to wait and aren't listening." Ranbir:"send them in." She nodded and left. Prachi :"why are they here?" Ranbir:"they must want to sort the issue without police. Hmm, you should probably leave...." Prachi:"no. I will stay. He drugged me. I will make sure he is punished." Sam and his father entered the cabin. Prachi noticed how Sam was injured. He did receive a well-deserved beating.
Mr. M:"how dare you raise hand on my son?" Prachi:"and how dare he drugged me? And this beating is not enough. Ranbir should have hit him more." Sam:"you..." But his father stopped him. Mr. M:"you didn't do good, Ranbir. We were about to do business with you." Ranbir:"and you think that i would have accept it after seeing how your son behaved."
Mr. M:"you are refusing business with us for this girl." Ranbir:"you already know my decision, so leave." Sam:"oh please, as if she didn't want it as well. She is just pretending to be innocent in front of you." Prachi went to him and slapped him. Prachi:"forgot to do that yesterday." Sam:"you fucking bitch...." He was about to slap her back but Ranbir moved her behind him. Ranbir punched him hard. Ranbir:"don't think about touching her." He continued beating him until Sam' father interfered saying he will send Ranbir to jail for attacking his son.
Prachi went to stop Ranbir and pulled him back. Prachi:"we will file a complaint against your son. Try to save him instead of threatening us." The father-son duo left from there.
Prachi noticed Ranbir's clenched jaws and how furious his eyes were. Prachi:"Ranbir, it's ok. I am fine, he didn't do anything. He didn't even touch me. Please calm down." Ranbir, angrily:"he was about to slap you, Prachi. How could i have let him?" Prachi:"he didn't do it.. you stopped it on time."
Ranbir angrily held her arms and pinned her to the Wall.

Ranbir:"maybe it doesn't matter to you. But it does to me. I can't bear someone hurting you. I can't bear someone saying anything against you. I can't bear it."
Prachi was surprised hearing him but at the same time, she could feel her heart beating fast.
Ranbir, continued his rant:"seeing you with him was unbearable, but seeing you being annoyed with him made me happy. I just can't...." Prachi, lovingly:"why?" Ranbir looked t her. He realised what he blabbered in anger. Whatever it was, it was true. He couldn't bear her with someone else and less seeing someone hurt her.
Prachi asked him again. He had to lie to her. Those feelings will go away with time. He wasn't going to make her part of his destructive side.
But he couldn't allow himself to lie to her and thus said the truth.
Prachi knew he will just get upset if she continues to insist. He needed to deal with his feelings and the same goes for her. However, they were not aware that Mr. O was at the door and heard everything. He wanted to thank Ranbir personally for saving and taking care of his Princess. But little did he realise that his princess wasn't just his now. He left from there without Pranbir noticing him.
Prachi took her bag and left as well. Ranbir watched her retreating figure painfully. His heart was telling him to stop her and just confess his feelings but his mind reminded him that he didn't deserve her. And finally his mind won over.
Prachi returned home and went straight to her room. She looked at herself in the mirror. She knew she had some feelings for Ranbir and steadily hoped that it will intensified. However, she was unaware that it has already intensified. She was realizing it now.
