Part 37: Drugs

All wedding rituals were completed and Arhana were officially married to each other. They took blessing from the elders and then came to Pranbir.
Prachi handed a box of jewelry which she bought along with Arbir the other day. Ranbir handed a file to Aryan.
Aryan, jokingly:"i know you are a business man, but doesn't mean you will give me contract papers."
Ranbir:"open it."
He did as told and was surprised seeing the papers inside.
Aryan, dumbfounded:"Ranbir.... This..."
Ranbir:"all yours, buddy."

Dida:"share it with us also."
Aryan:"i can't accept this."
Ranbir:"you did so much for me. Things i can't and will never forget. We shared everything, can't i do this for my brother?"
Aryan hugged him tightly.
Shahana:"how much suspense? Let me see."
She checked the papers and had similar expression as Aryan.
Arbir laughed seeing her.
Prachi:"Ranbir bought the penthouse next to his in London for Aryan. Now Aryan and Shahana have their own house there."
Dida:"really?"
Vikram and Pallavi were surprised.

Mr O:"great, we all will be nearby then, right Champ."
Ranbir nodded.
Ranbir, happily:"we will watch matches together."
Aryan:"play loads pf video games."
Mr. O:"count me in."
Abhi:"me too. We will have a blast."
Aryan hugged Ranbir.

In between the hug Ranbir:"i can't repay you enough for what you did for me."
Aryan:"you will thank me now, great."

Rhea:"come on, let's have a toast now on Aryan and Shahana."
They moved to the hall and Rhea gave each and everyone a glass.
Abhi:"for a happy married life of Aryan and Shahana."
They all toasted and drank. Prachi handed over her glass to Ranbir.
Ranbir:"you can have a little bit."
She nodded no.

They all spent time together enjoying the rest pf the evening. Prachi was with Shahana while the boy disappeared after dinner.
Prachi noticed Aryan with some other boys who were leaving but he was also searching for someone.

Prachi came to him.
Aryan:"have you seen Ranbir?"
Prachi:"no, i thought he was with you."
Aryan:"he was but then disappeared. I haven't seen him since."
Prachi:"i will find him."
Aryan:"i will come with you."

They searched the hall but didn't find him. The guests were already leaving. Shahana noticed them tensed and came to them.
Aryan explained her and she also joined them in searching Ranbir.

Prachi checked his room but in vain. She came back in the hall and met Shahana who didn't find him as well.
They heard breaking of glasses in the hall and came there.
There were only Mr and Mrs O, and the Kohlis.
Prachi noticed that Aryan was trying to support Ranbir who was heavily drunk.

Prachi approached them and was about to go to Ranbir but Aryan stopped her.

Aryan:"don't go there."
Prachi:"help me put him to bed. He is drunk. He never gets drunk."
She was about to go to Ranbir again but she was stopped again by Aryan.
Aryan:"he is not drunk."
Prachi looked on.
Aryan:"they drugged him. It's the same drug they used to give him in childhood. He gets very aggressive with it."
Prachi looked at Vikram and Pallavi.

Vikram went to Mr. O.
Vikram:"see, you didn't listen to me. Now you will see the real Ranbir Kohli. I told you to take your daughter and leave but no.
Now see how Ranbir destroys and hurts her."

Mr.O:"you think that he will hurt her just because he is drunk? He will not."
Vikram:"let's see without interfering."
Mr. O:"let's see."
Vikram smirked at Pallavi.

Prachi:"they are trying to make him a drug addict again?"
Aryan:"i don't know about that but Ranbir turns very aggressive under its influence.
He might hurt anyone."

Prachi:"he won't hurt me. I will go."
She went to Ranbir who was eating sweets.
Prachi held his arms to stop him but he jerked it away.
Prachi:"Ranbir... come."
Ranbir:"no. Step away."
