Pranbir: lifeless without you

Part 32: From 'I don't know' to ....

Pranbir went downstairs and saw all the ladies buying jewelry. Shahana came to Prachi.
Shahana:"you also buy."
Prachi:"no, no I have a lot. You go, you are the bride."
Shahana went back to Dida and Pragya.
Rhea to her friend:"does she really have that much money? She isn't buying anything."

Prachi, fake smilingly:"should i show you my bank balance?"
Abhi came to Ranbir and was talking to him.

Prachi noticed Pallavi buying the jewelry. She bought a lot and it cost a lot as well.
Aryan tapped her shoulders.
Aryan:"where is my sister lost?"

Prachi:"Aryan, i know that whatever expenses for your wedding is on you and Ranbir. Mr and Mrs Kohli didn't contribute."
Aryan:"right, business is in lost, there is not enough capital."

Prachi:"if they don't have money. How come she is buying all this." She said pointing to Pallavi.
Aryan was also thoughtful.

Ranbir also heard it as Abhi left.
Aryan:"good point. How can she pay for all of this?"
Ranbir looked on.
Ranbir:"i will check.""

Shahana pulled Prachi with her.
Aryan:"bro, what did you think?"
Ranbir:"i will check it."
Aryan:"dumbo, about Prachi. Will you finally propose her?"
Ranbir glared at him.

Aryan:"i will help you with it."
Ranbir:"this won't work."
Aryan:"come on buddy. Prachi supports you all the time. Make her feel special. You will see how happy she will gets. A little expression of love. You already bought the ring."

Ranbir:i will see."
Aryan:"that's better."

The girls were applying Mehendi on their hands at night.
Prachi:"Dida, apply as well. I will serve everyone."
Dida:"oh no dear. You apply, I will handle everything."
Prachi:"what no? Let's go."
She brought Dida outside and went as well to apply.

Arbir along with Abhi joined them. They were checking the preparations for tomorrow.
Prachi went to the kitchen after her mehendi was done.
Prachi, to herself:"how do i do this now?" She looked at the water bottle.

Ranbir:"need some help, Miss Oberoi?"
Prachi smilingly turned:"Please, Mr. Kohli."

He approached her with a glass and made her drink.
Ranbir:"hmmm, Prachi, you are free tonight right?"
She nodded yes still drinking.
Ranbir:"i have a surprise for you."
As she was surprised, she chocked out the water. He tapped her back.
Prachi, coughing:"su... surprised?"
Ranbir:"be ready."
She nodded still surprised.

Prachi:"let's go now."
She unknowingly touch Ranbir's cheek with her mehendi hand.
He touched his cheek wiping it off.

Prachi:"sorry, it was by mistake."
Ranbir:"Really? Mistake? You did that on purpose. Now you see what i do."
He took tge water bottle and was about to throw it  on her. She was trying to escape buthl he caught her.
Prachi, closing her eyes:"sorry sorry..."
Ranbir chuckled seeing her. He wasn't going to throw it.
He used this opportunity to kiss her on the cheek.

Prachi looked at her and lightly push him away.
Rhea witnessed everything and angrily left from there.

Pranbir joined everyone back for dinner. Ranbir fed Dida first. The other boys were feeding their wives and would be wife.
Prachi was busy talking to Mrs O and was excitedly showing her mehendi.

Mrs. O:"If you say, we come there to fix your wedding as well?"
Prachi:"mamma, how far did you go?"
Mrs. O:"that's the next step now."
Prachi:"we will when we are ready."
Mrs. O:"i know, i am just kidding. You both don't beed any label. As long as my 2 babies are happy"
Prachi:"what mamma? I am not a baby now."

She felt someone hugged her from behind and placed his chin on her shoulder.
She didn't have to turn to know that it was Ranbir.

Prachi:"See, mamma is calling me a baby."
Ranbir, chuckled:"that you are. You are our baby."
She looked at him while Mrs. O was smilingly seeing them.
Mrs. O:"Ranbir is also our child but you are still a baby."
Prachi pouted at their talks.
Mr. O:"you troubling my princess."
Prachi:"see naa Papa."
Mr. O:"give me a chance too."
Prachi:"what Papa? You too."
Mrs.O and Ranbir chuckled.

Mr. O:"well, i have a good news for you."
The trio waited impatiently .
Mr. O:"we are coming to India."
Prachi, excitedly:"really?"
Ranbir:"when are you coming?"

Mr. O:"we will reach tomorrow, i guess after the wedding."
Ranbir:"Uncle, i will arrange for your stay."
Mr. o nodded.

Mrs. O:"then we should pack. We are going to our daughter. Hurry."
She left quickly.
Mr. O:"you guys take care. We will see you soon."
They hung up.

Prachi, excitedly turned to Ranbir:"Mamma Papa are coming. I am so happy."
Ranbir took a plate and brought her to his room.

They sat down and Ranbir started feeding her. He was listening to her while she was expressing her excitement about various things; her parents arrival, Arhana's wedding tomorrow.

Prachi:"you also eat."
Ranbir nodded and ate as well fed her. They were both sharing basic things and that's the most special part of their relationship. They would share their smallest things with each other.

Later during the night:
Ranbir was going to drop Prachi.
Dida:"stay here for tonight as well."
Prachi:"i will come tomorrow early."

Aryan:"yeah, yeah, she needs to go."
They all looked at him confused while Ranbir glared at him.
Shahana:"you are pushing my friend."
Aryan:"she is my sister as well. But today it's for her. She needs to rest. Go go Ranbir."

Ranbir was awkwardly quiet during the car ride. Prachi asked but he denied it. She thought he was just tired.

Prachi's room:
She dropped her things and switched on the lights. She went straight to her bedroom and noticed a square jewelry box on the bed.
She picked it up.

Ranbir was looking at her anxiously.
He never voiced out his feelings, but when Aryan said to do it for Prachi, he thought he should do it.

She opened it to find the ring she liked the other day at the shop. She removed the ring and admired it.
Prachi:"you bought it"
Ranbir:"hmmm. You liked it so much."

He held her hands to get her full attention.
Ok, he was going to try.
It's Prachi, she already understand this.

Prachi was listening attentively.

Ranbir:"you know it's hard for me to voice out my feelings, i am very bad at it. But i do want you to know this. I know, you already know this but still i want to say it to you."

Ranbir, continued:"our relationship started with our 'i don't know' but now i know it. I have known it for a long time now."
Prachi was looking at him lovingly.

Ranbir:"i know that you are the best thing that happened to me. I know that i need you with me at every step. I know that whenever i am in lain, you are the first person that this heart seeks.
I know that i can't live you without you. I know that this Prachi belongs to Ranbir and this Ranbir to Prachi. I know that i can't start my day without seeing this cute face.
I know that with each passing day, i fall more and more for you. And this ring is a promise that i won't cease to feel that way."
He made her wear the ring. Prachi hugged him tightly.
She was teary eyed. That was the first time that Ranbir expressed himself fully.
He didn't have to do it. She knew every single thing he said.  But still her heart fluttered when he was saying it.
Her happiness was beyond level.

Prachi, still hugging him:"who said you are bad at voicing your feelings? This was perfect."

Ranbir broke the hug and kissed her forehead.
Prachi, teasingly:"you said so much, couldn't you say just three words?"
Ranbir looked at her.

Prachi:"no problem, i will say it. I love you, Mr Ranbir Kohli."
Ranbir:"i love you too."

She caressed his cheek.
Prachi:"and you are also the best thing that happened to me."
Ranbir closed the distance between them and captured her lips.
It was a small kiss but they poured all their love for each other in it.
Once they separated, Prachi hugged him once again happily.
