awaking to the feeling of warm sunlight hitting your skin , you slowly opened your eyes.

the spot next to your bed was cold , the fluffy white blanket covering your figure. the window's blinds were slightly opened so that light could seep through.

you got up , mind empty with no thoughts. you could smell xiao on you. his shirt was soft and slightly too big. a small sigh exited your nose.

where's xiao ?

too lazy to get up , you fell right back to the bed and snuggled closer , your pillow luckily being cold. the only sounds heard were birds chirping.

your mind thought about last night. did xiao really do that yesterday ? it was baffling to imagine. the feeling of his touch and the sound of his words made you feel anxious.

the feeling of xiao not being next to you started to become a bother. you rolled out of bed and stood up , taking a minute to stretch.

the feeling of your back and legs being pulled felt nice , a small groan released from the action. you looked down for a moment and sighed.

red marks on your thighs and somehow on your wrists were scattered like paint stains.

after splashing your face with water , brushing your teeth , and quickly brushing your hair , you mentally grumbled before leaving the room to look for the amber-eyed boy.

"xiao ?"

he was in the kitchen , knife in his hand and a plate of strawberries and peaches on the other. he glanced at you before slightly smiling. "good morning." xiao said. you returned his smile , coming up to hug him from behind.

"slept well ?" you asked. he nodded.

"you're awfully warm..."

"i just got out of bed."

he placed the knife and fruits onto the cutting board before pecking your lips. "i hope you felt nice yesterday." "it was perfectly fine." you replied.

placing a cut strawberry in between your lips , xiao flicked your forehead. "now drink some water and eat food."
