EDITED

Alyssa's POV

"You guys did great on that car," Denny says.

He already dropped Grace off at her house, and right now we are sitting in the living room in his house. I followed him here so we can talk. I'm glad we live in the same town.

"We sure did," I reply.

"So as I told you, I needed to talk to you," I nod and he continues. "Now that the tour is over we need to start writing new songs for the next album, the third one."

"Oh yeah, I have tried but the last ones failed," I chuckle.

"Maybe we can write one together?" Denny suggests.

"Sure," I say, and we go to his home recording studio, yes he also has one because he is very rich.

I grab a notepad and start scribbling things that come to my mind. I sing it out loud.

"Me and you made a vow

For better of for worse

I can't believe you let me down

But the proof's in the way it hurts."

"Sounds good, but instead of "Me and you made a vow" I think it should be "You and me we made a vow."" Denny suggests.

"Yeah, that's good," I say putting in it.

I sing it out: "You and me we made a vow

For better or for worse

I can't believe you let me down

But the proof's in the way it hurts

For months on end I've had my doubts

Denying every tear.."

"I wish this would be over now

But I know that I still need you here," he finishes. He is actually a really good singer.

"You say I'm crazy

Cause you don't think I know what you've done

But when you call me baby," I sing.

"I know I'm not the only one," he sings.

"You've been so unavailable

Now sadly I know why

Your heart is uncontainable

Even though Lord knows you kept mine"

"You say I'm crazy

Cause you don't hunk I know what you've done

But when you call me baby

I know I'm not the only one," we sing together.

Denny sings, "I have loved you for many years

Maybe I am just not enough

You've made me realize my deepest fear

By lying and tearing us up."

I join him in the end, "You say I'm crazy

Cause you don't think I know what you've done

But when you call me baby

I know I'm not the only one

I know I'm not the only one

I know I'm not the only one

And I know...

I know I'm not the only one."

"Wow, looks like we got the first song," Denny smiles.

"And I never knew you could sing," I say.

"Yeah I guess," he blushes, looking down at his lap

"You guess? You are an amazing singer," I exaggerate the word 'amazing'.

"Stop," he says, still blushing.

We stare at each other for a moment until he starts leaning in. I find myself also leaning in. Soon, our lips connect and we move in sync until he pulls away.

"I should've have even done that," Denny says. "I'm so sorry Alyssa."

"No it's fine, really," I respode.

"Listen Alyssa, I really like you. I want to be more than friends. You make me laugh and smile and I love that about you. You are beautiful from your looks and personality. I know you just got out of a relationship, but will you be my girlfriend?" Denny says not taking a moment to pause in between sentences.

"D-Denny.. yes," I say.

"Thank you. I promise you won't regret it," he says and we kiss again.
