We met again

Chapter 3

"Pardon?"

He sighed. "I said come to my condo."

Ay inulit pa talaga.

"Why?" Nakakunot noo kong tanong.

Napakamot sya sa ulo nya at tinignan ako na parang nauubusan na ng pasensya. "Lunch." maikling sagot nya.

Ha?

"Can you please enlighten me? Kung ano ba talaga yung gusto mong italk hindi yung ang short ng mga sagot mo." Naiinis kong sabi sakanya.

"You didn't know what lunch is?" parang naiinis na rin sya.

"Are you stupid?" Pikon kong tanong.

"Who called you stupid?"

"You."

"Me? Ikaw na nga yung niyaya ng lunch tapos ako pa ngayon yung stupid? You are literally a brat." He said while shaking his head.

"That's my point! Why did you invite me to your condo to eat lunch? We're not even close."

"Who told you that I'm the one who invite you there? Inutusan lang ako ng nanay ko kasi andon na sila with your mom pinatawag ka sa'kin dito kasi doon ka na raw mag lunch." Mahaba nyang paliwanag.

Oh. Okay.

"Great! If kanina mo sinasabi edi hindi na tayo magtatalk ng ganito kahaba."

"Tss dyan ka na nga, I don't want to talk to brat," He said and go back to his unit.

That pale man! Ang short kaya ng mga sagot nya para naman ikakamatay nya if hahabaan nya yung sagot nya diba? Tapos sya pa yung may ganang sabihan ako ng brat?

I entered his condo and I found there my mom with tita ninang.

"Oh, madison!"  Tita Salene greets me, pale man's mom.

Lumapit ako sakanila then I kiss their both cheeks before I sit on the sofa.

"You're so beautiful lady, last time I saw you you're just a pretty girl but look at you now, time flies so fast talaga." She said while smiling.

"But she's so grumpy, Salene." Mom said.

"I'm not nga po."I pout.

"Oh, you're not? Really Madison?" Mom said then she laughs. "That's the reason nga why wala pa syang dinadala sa bahay." dagdag pa nya.

"You don't have a boyfriend pa Madi? Why? You're so beautiful kaya, don't tell me that you don't have suitors ha." Hindi makapaniwang sabi ni Tita.

"Because she's grumpy nga lahat ng suitors nya nirereject nya." Si mommy na yung sumagot.

Nanay ko pinagpipilitan na grumpy ako kahit hindi naman talaga.

"That's not the reason naman po I  just...don't want pa." I smile.

"Why? You're not ready pa?" She asked.

"Perhaps," I answered and gave her a little smile.

"Oh, you're so precious if magkaron ka man ng boyfriend dapat sya na until the end. Right, Reese?" Tanong niya kay Reese na nagphophone lang.

"Ha? Why me? I don't know." He answered.

"Just for you rin yung sinabi ko para next time naman na pipili ka ulit yung maayos naman na hindi na katulad ni-"

"Mom." Reese cut her mother's words.

"Oh I'm sorry" She smiled awkwardly.

"C'mon na let's eat lunch." Mommy said and she stand up with tita then they go together to the kitchen para siguro ayusin na yung lunch.
