We met again

Chapter 7

Sa nakalipas na isang linggo namin ni Kuya na pagtigil dito sa bahay with our parents, it was all perfect we bond as a family like we used to do before I realized that this is what I missed since I moved to my condo. 

It's Saturday night so it means tomorrow I and Kuya will go back to our place because classes are starting on Monday and mom decide to have a simple dinner with tita Salene and her family.

"Madison get ready na your tita ninang and her family is coming."

"Alright," I said and left the kitchen.

I helped mommy to cook for our dinner she said she miss cooking with me. After I changed my clothes bumababa na din agad ako.

I saw them in the living room while waiting for tita Salene's, I sit beside Kuya who is watching tv right now. After a minute we heard our doorbell ring.

When then door opens niluwa non sila tita Salene with her husband and nasa likod naman is Reese na as usual wala na naman emosyon yung mukha nya.

"Hi everyone!" Sigaw ni Tita Salene.

Mommy approache her.  "Hello, Salene! I'm glad that you came with your family." then nakipagbeso sya.

After magbatian ng mga magulang namin ako naman yung lumapit kanila tita salene para bumati sakanila.

"Hi tita," I said and kiss her cheeks.

"Hello my beautiful inaanak," she said.

I smiled at her and go to Tito Dan, her husband. "Hi Tito" I kiss his cheeks too.

"Hello ija," He said.

After I approached them I looked at Reese na nasa likod lang I smile at him at tinanguan nya lang ako.

"Let's eat na c'mon Madi and I cooked our dinner." Excited na sabi ni mom.

Sabay sabay kaming pumunta sa dining table kung saan nakahanda ang mga food na niluto namin ni mommy kanina.

I sit beside Kuya at kaharap ko naman si pale man-- I mean Reese.

We start eating while my parents together with Kuya, Tita Salene, and Tito Dan are talking about business. I'm not interested sa pinaguusapan nila kaya tahimik lang ako habang nakain and ganon din si Reese.

"So ang next na palang hahawak ng company nyo is si Jake?" I heard Tito Dan ask.

"Yes, I asked him first if he is interested in our business before I decide na sya na ang magpapatuloy and he said yes, right son?" Dad said.

Kuya smile. "Yeah, when I was in high school I'm interested in our business kaya I talked to dad na I'll get degree in college is about to our company."

"Oh, you're graduating na pala this year no?" Tita asks.

"Yes po together with Madi."

Actually, mauuna talaga dapat si Kuya grumaduate sa'kin kaso he's a trouble maker before I mean pati naman ngayon pero minsan na lang,  kaya he repeats nung third-year high school sya.

"Tourism student ka, right Madi?" Tita asks.

I drink water before I answer him. "Yes Tito."

"You're not interested in your family's company?" He asks again.

"Not that much but I'm planning to have my own coffee shop someday." 

"It's a good idea, always remember that as long as you are happy with the path you will choose your parents will always support you," I just smile at him.
