You're being weird

Summary: Liz goes out shopping for the day to buy a ring for y/n but y/n misunderstands and thinks liz is cheating on her.

Y/ns POV

I looked down at my watch. 7:38. She had been gone for 6 hours! I was starting to worry a lot when i heard the familiar click of a key turning in the lock. 

"N/n I'm home". She was not able to finish the rest of her sentence before I tackled her in a hug and nearly crushed her. "Oh my god y/n" she laughed.

My happy face quickly turned to a frown. "Where have you been? why were you gone for so long? What happened?" All the questions from today seemed to pour out of my mouth. "Hey hey hey, slow down my love" she said cupping her hands on my cheeks. 

I took a deep breath in, closed my eyes and asked her slower. "Where were you" She slowly released her hands from my face and shrugged "just went out you know how it is". She walked straight past me leaving me there dumbstruck. 

I turned around to face her. "You're being weird"

She just looked up at me and frowned. Shrugging she picked up her phone and scrolled through her Instagram followers fan pages and bit her nails.

My mind went all foggy and tears swam in my eyes blurring my vision. I opened the front door and walking out into the night.

Lizzies POV

I heard the door slam and I looked up from my phone and saw an empty space where Y/n was stood before. "Oh shit" I muttered under my breath. I dropped my phone on the counter and  ran into the hall of our shared apartment. I grabbed my coat and raced out the door. I turned left and squinted to see if I could find a familiar head of y/h/c locks but I couldn't see anything. I sighed and went back inside hoping with all my heart she'd come back soon. I picked up my phone again and pressed on her contact. I attempted to ring her. "Cmon Y/n pick up" I muttered.

Y/ns POV

My phone buzzed in my pocket. I took it out and saw three miss calls from Lizzie. Something in me told me to ring her back but I couldn't. Not just yet anyway. 

I stood up from the park bench I was sat on and stuffed my phone in my pocket. I stopped walking for a second because I realised that I didn't actually know where I was going or what I was supposed to do now. 

I took out my phone again and scrolled through my contacts trying to find a suitable one to be able to ring and ask for a couple of nights stay at their house.

Perfect!!! I clicked on scarletts name and rang her. 

"Hey Y/n what's up?" She asked slightly concerned. "Hey yeah I was wondering if I could stay at yours for a couple of nights?" There was silence from the other end of the phone. Perhaps to think about wether i was good to come round? "Yeah of course you can come stay" Scarlett finally said sympathy making its show in her voice. "Thanks I really appreciate it" I said to her. "Oh no no it's not trouble". I smiled into the phone and she said "where are you? I can come pick you up" I looked around and told her "by the hotdog stand in the park" hoping she would know where that was. "Right I'm on my way I'll see you in a bit" "yeah bye Scar". "Bye N/n".

Time skip

I was sat in the car with Scarlett next to her baby daughter in the back who was extremely cute may I just point out. Scarlett was driving and I was playing with Rose and her baby rattle. Scarlett looked in the rear view mirror at us and smiled at the cuteness. "So uh Y/n what happened?"

"Huh". "You know..what happened that made you come and stay with us?" "Oh that, well uh I think liz may be cheating on me" Scarlett slammed the brakes on nearly making her baby daughter fly out of her seat. Luckily I caught the seat before it could move. "WHAT THE HELL!!" I shouted at her. She completely ignored the fact that she nearly killled us all and turned to look at me "Oh honey I don't think she is" "how would you know?" I said still a bit angry from before. "Well she actually spoke to me last night and well you are her world." I looked up at Scarlett and she nodded. I tapped the back of her seat and said "next stop the flower shop then my apartment." She smiled and raced to the shop.

Time skip again..

I opened the door and found the house in pitch black. "Oh shit" I muttered to myself. I stumbled in and almost sprinted to our shared room. My heart dropped when I saw she wasn't in bed. "Cmon liz where did you go" I said out loud. 

"I'm right behind you silly" came a warm familiar voice from behind me. I turned around so fast I got a face full of my hair as it whacked me in the face. "Oh my god" I cried dropping  everything I had in my hands and ran into her open arms. "I love you so much Y/n" I nodded into her neck and she tapped me on the shoulder. "No Y/n I love you so so much" she said as we released from each other's arms. Confused I looked at her "mhm I love you too" "Yeah but I think I love you more" I raised an eyebrow at her and she got down on one knee...

Pretty quickly I put two and two together and slapped a hand to my mouth. She took a box from her jacket and opened it to show the most beautiful sapphire ring I had ever seen. "Y/n I love you with all my heart you mean the absolute world to me and I think we would make each other happy, so... will you marry me? 

"OF COURSE OF COURSE" I screamed and she smiled widely. Taking the ring out the box she slid it onto my finger and looked deep into my eyes. 

I leant in and kissed her passionately. She wrapped her arms around my neck as I wrapped mine round her waist. We stayed in that position for what seemed like an eternity.
