"Y/N!" Lizzie screamed for the fifth time that day after you flicked pancake batter at her head again. You grinned mischievously at her and laughed as you watched you girlfriend wipe away the batter on her nose.
But as soon as her face was clean Lizzie turned her attention towards you as you stood on the other side of the counter, still grinning away.
Lizzie threw down the cloth that was in her hand and started to walk towards you, picking up her pace as she got closer.
You clocked on to what was about to happen and you squealed as you turned your back to her and ran out of the kitchen. You could hear Lizzie giggling behind you and you squealed once more before sprinting up the stairs, holding your hands in front of your butt to keep it safe.
Lizzies footsteps on the stairs made you run even faster and you continued down the hallway until you reached the bedroom door. Opening it as fast as you could you ran inside the room, slamming the door shut behind you and jumped under the covers of the bed.
Lizzie burst through the door panting.
"Dammit Y/N you're fast", she breathed, before noticing the small lump under the covers.
She tip toed over to the bed, hearing your small giggles as she got closer. She smiled at how adorable you were being before she began to tickle you above the covers. You squealed and thrashed about which caused the covers of the bed to fall off your head revealing your bright smile and eyes full of happy tears. Lizzie stopped tickling you once she saw your face and she just admired your happiness.
She moved you over slightly on the bed so that she had room to lie down with you. Once she had laid down, you rested your head on her chest and she stroked your hair.
The two of you stayed like this for a while before you heard Lizzie's stomach rumble.
"C'mon lets go get those pancakes", you said sitting up.
Lizzie sighed at having to break apart from you, but gave into the hunger and followed you downstairs, feeling happier than ever.
