THIRD PERSON POV

It's been a week and everyone has been on edge and alert especially Aiden and Hunter , Aiden had his pack members keeping look out at night while Tessa's mates and brother's watched at Mornings , Aiden knew they was coming he just didn't know when because neither him or Damien didn't get another vision.

Aiden and Hunter sat inside of Tessa's room while she slept Aiden wanted to talk to Hunter about their marriage to their mate but he didn't know if Hunter would agree on what he was thinking especially because they weren't the best of friends and he wasn't gay but it would only be right , "spill it" Hunter said as he chuckled at Aiden's thinking face "As you know i was gonna propose to Tess after her birthday" Hunter slowly nodded as he cleared his throat then scratched his head "anddd" he said dragging out the ds "Tess would have my last name and it would be stupid if-" "you want me to have your last name" Hunter asked with a raised brow and Aiden coughed "I'm just saying because- you know" Hunter nodded and stop the blush that crept up his face at the thought of having Aiden's name "so you do know you'd have to buy me a ring right" Hunter said as he chuckled and Aiden growled lowly "don't remind me" .

Hunter casually walked around the yard in his wolf form it was late at night and he offered too watch the house so that Aiden's pack members have enough time to spend with their mates and children , Alex offered to watch with him but he didn't need it and he can tell that Alex was busy even though the boy offered.

Hunter walked in front of the yard then laid down and let his wolf feel the soft grass and the wind blowing

That wind feels good Aleu said

Yeah i know right maybe soon we can lay outside in our wolf form Hunter suggested.

Do you hear that? Aleu asked

Hunter immediately stood up he could smell a vampire and hear it's footsteps he immediately let out a warning growl but then the vampire came into view then hissed once he saw the big black wolf "i hate wolves" the male said and Hunter growled as he wasted no time charging at the vampire but the vampire did a back flip over him and when Hunter turned around he was surrounded by four vampires

He howled sending a message that he had needed help and just as he did that two of the vampires was already crushing his bones until he was whimpering and loosing breath before his vision blurred he could see a big brown wolf and a grey wolf ripping the head off of the vampires.

FIVE MINUTES BEFORE AIDEN's POV

"Tessa you don't have to keep worrying we all would keep you safe even if it costs us our lives" i told my beautiful mate as i rubbed grease through her hair she was so worried about everybody

"I know and that's what i hate most ,if something happens to one of you i wouldn't know what to do and honestly I'd just blame myself for being so human and fragile" i whimpered at the thought of her not liking being a human just as i was about to tell her how perfect she was i heard a ground breaking howl "that's Hunter" Quil stated and i was already vampire speeding out the room and out the front door i growled loudly at the sight in front of me and wasted no time ripping the head off the first vampire i saw in sight i could feel David whimpering in the back of my head

I grabbed one of their necks in a hard grip making him hiss "this is just a warning" he said before i snapped his neck and ripped his body apart i quickly vampire sped to Hunter and put my head on his chest "he's not breathing" i quickly picked him up and vampire sped inside of the house and into the hospital wing "fucking do something" i growled out at the dumb ass doctor who just stood there

Then i heard Tess loud cries and she quickly ran into the room but i grabbed her "is he breathing" she asked as she put her face in my chest i didn't answer her because at the moment he wasn't "is he fucking breathing" she yelled and i slowly shook her head and she cried harder "Tess i promise i won't let him die" i told her as i kissed her head and held her tight.

After two minutes she was fast asleep and Brent carried her to bed while i sat next to Hunter "you have to live" i said as i just stared at him we never was the best of friends but seeing him this way made something in my heart clench as much as i hated to say it i cared for him and always will "what can i do" i asked Damien as he walked into the room i didn't know tears was coming from my eyes until Damien just stared at me i quickly wiped them then cleared my throat only for him to send me a small smile

"You can change him" i quickly shook my head "that wouldn't work i'm only a half vampire if anything it'll just make it worse" i told him as i started to pace i didn't know what to do but i needed to do something and fast "he still isn't breathing Aiden just fucking do it" i sighed as i walked back over to Hunter , i kissed his neck before i bit into it then i bit into both his wrist

When i was done i licked his blood up so that it wouldn't be a mess "how long do you think we have" i asked Damien and he shrugged Kolton's the one who's good with knowing these kind of things" just then Kolton walked into the room then looked at Hunter's body

"If this works he'll come back as a wolf but with your ability's and he'd be able to get pregnant you know if you two was you know also you'd have to mark him as yours" i sighed then ran my hands through my hair i wasn't gay and i didn't like the idea of having to make love with a guy that probably would be my mate "Aiden no one is gonna judge you , and everything happens for a reason you just have to go with the flow" Damien said as him and Kolton left the room leaving me with my thoughts and my soon to be mate.
