"Question, Why is Sarge downstairs not in yet?" I asked. "She is probably running late today." He said. "Oh okay, how long until you can call in to say you late? Or you won't be coming in?" I asked. "Thirty minutes before your shift and fifteen minutes before you actaully supposed to be in." He said. "And Sarge never called you?" I asked. "No why? Where you getting at sweetpea?" He asked. "Don't you find it weird? I mean she has never been late or never called in right?" I said. "She probably forgot." He said.
But I looked at him in disapproval.
"You have a feeling something's wrong don't you?" He asked and I nodded my head. "Okay, go check it out." He said. "Okay thank you." I said leaving his office.
I grabbed my gun, badge and jacket.
