'Then kill him first.' The dark voice suggested.

The doors to the elevator opened to reveal Rex, effectively stopping my internal argument. I tried to approach him, but he didn't even glance my way. He had one destination in mind. Krell.

The General didn't turn to acknowledge Rex.

"Sir, I respectfully request that you reconsider court marshaling Jesse and Fives." he stated, a small flicker of hope radiating off of him, but it wouldn't make a difference.

"The actions of ARC Trooper 5555 and CT-5597 were a clear act of treachery and disregard for my command. If if the punishment isn't swift, it might inspire others to rise up and act in the same manner," he said in a bored tone.

"Sir, the men are with you." Rex assured, "It's just that some of them feel you're endangering their lives needlessly."

"All the more reason to send a message. Treason will not be tolerated." Krell said firmly, turning to face Rex.
