Walking into school Monday morning, to say I was anxious was a complete understatement. I know for a fact James is going to make his very public move in front of everyone and no matter how much I try and hide. He'll find me in the end
I got to my locker safely, he hadn't shown up just yet but give it 10 minutes and he'll be here
"I hear James has news for us" Hunter said and my breath hitched. Of course he had already spoken to them about it
"I already know what it is" Eldon said confidently making my roll my eyes 
"What's uppppp" I hear James call as he walked up to them
Biting my lip in anticipation, I closed me locker and was about to leave to corridor when James' gaze locked with mine
With a soft smile my anxiety lessoned making me return the smile
"Excuse me" James said to the boys coming over and instantly crashing his lips against mine
"Oh my lord!" West called making him and the rest of the boys laugh and clap
"I'm proud of you for not trying to run" James teased making me smile
"Was there any point in running? you would have found me eventually?" I asked and he smiled pecking my lips again before dragging me over with the rest of the boys

"So you all remember Riley" James said flinging his arm over my shoulder
"Dudeee! How on earth did that get past us!" West said clearly over the moon with the news
"I would like to public retract all the comments I made about Riley!" Hunter said clearly embarrassed
"I know all about them already I'm afraid" I replied making Hunter instantly hit Eldon
"It wasn't me dumbass!" Eldon replied making James chuckle kissing my cheek
I've never seen this side of James, it's as if he was proud having me on his arm 

"So this is who you've been disappearing with all this time?" Daniel asked and both James and I nodded
"Are you two ready to be the next power couple of our year" Hunter teased and James rolled her eyes
"I need to head to the Library, but I'll see you all later" I said detaching myself from James, with one quick pull at the hand he had pulled me back making me laugh
"I'm not running, I seriously do need to goooo" I whined making James chuckle before kissing me once more
"I'll see you later" He replied placing one last kiss on my forehead before allowing me to go
"See you later" I replied with an eye roll walking away 
"Mannnn you're hocked as hell" Hunter said, let the teasing begin

Lunch quickly rolled around and I took a seat at my usual bench, I was reading another book I had got from the Library. One huge perk of this school is they cycle through their stock of books so I am yet to find one I've already read and I'm in love with them all
"Excuse me madam, you're in the wrong place" I hear a voice say, I looked up to see James stood there. I rolled my eyes going back to my book
"So be it" He said grabbing my bag and then throwing me over his shoulder
I continued to resist by hitting him in the back as I watched my bench get small and smaller until I was put back on the ground
"I was pretty happy over there you know" I said crossing my arms before glancing at the boys staring at us
"We don't bite" Hunter teased
"Just sit with us" James said kissing my cheek making room next to him
"You know just cause we're dating doesn't mean I have to talk to you. I could happily ignore you right now" I said making James pout playfully
"Eldon, she won't really ignore me will she" James asked making me smirk
"Oh yeah buddy, she once ignored Emily for what 2 weeks Riley?" Eldon asked, I proudly closed my book looking at James
"3 weeks and 5 days" I replied making James bite his lip
"I'm sorry" He muttered making me and all the boys laugh
"hooked i'm telling you!" Hunter said continuing to tease

"What is going on here?" I hear an oh so familiar voice say, I look up to see Michelle stood there crossed arms
"We're having lunch" James said placing his arm around me, Michelle looked at me
"I see someone didn't listen to my warning" She said so only I could hear her
"Mind if I join?" Michelle said sweetly looking at James
"Well what a shame, the table is pretty full" James replied pulling me in closer
"I'm sure Riley wouldn't mind switching places with me" Michelle said before touching my hair
"Would you Riley" Michelle said again, I looked at James and then back to Michelle
"If Riley goes, I go" James said
"And me" Eldon replied making me smile
"All us will go" West said 
"But I'm pretty comfy" hunter whined making James and Eldon both kick him under the table
"so be it" Michelle said walking away clearly annoyed
"I want that story later" James whispered into my arm placing a kiss on my cheek as everyone fizzled back into their own conversation
