Emily and I sat on one of the sofa's, Dad sat in his usual arm chair while Mum sat on the sofa opposite us
It's weird to think about all the memories that used to fill this room
"I think it's time we all sit down and talk about what is going to happen" Mum said very calmly might I add
"I don't want to leave, I have a life here" I explained and my mum nodded but my dad was getting angrier by the second, his hands that had once been clasped together were now pushing into a fist
"So you tell us to get a divorce and then you choose to walk away from me? I stayed for you Riley!" Dad explained
"I'm not walking away from you Dad, I don't understand first off why you have to move 4 hours away and secondly why you thought I would be okay with doing that" I offered

"Dad please don't turn this around to be Riley's fault. Your marriage hasn't been working for years. You can say you stayed here for us all you want but it isn't what we asked you to do" Emily said
"I've always said to you I want you to do what makes you happy, I didn't want you to stick around for me. I would have been able to cope with the divorce, we both would have. It would be a lot easier then constantly arguments" I said and Dad looked at me before bowing his head
"you are coming with me" He grumbled, I took Emily's hand in mine giving it a squeeze
"And if I don't?" I asked making him look at me
Those eyes will be ones I won't ever forget..

"So we have no idea what went down last night?" Eldon asked as we all arrived at the studio, Riley told us to meet her here after school, she took the day off of school to say goodbye to Emily. I guess their family came to a decision last night, Riley said she didn't want to text about it. It's something that needs to be said in person
That is never good news
"We have no idea" I replied walking through the double doors
"Uh oh" Eldon said freezing as we got to the room Riley is always in
"What?" West asked, I looked at Eldon who had concern on his face
"I think we should meet you in the car James" Eldon said making me furrow my brows
"This is her song, the one she dances with when she's upset" As soon as Eldon said that, I looked into the room to see it be true
She was dancing with tears streaming down her face
"Here is the keys" I said throwing them at Eldon before walking in

"So bad news I take it?" I asked rushing straight to her to hug her
"James" She whispered gripping my shirt as I held her close
"Whatever it is Ri, I'm here" I replied
"He's gone" She cried, I kissed the top of her head
"What happened Riley" I asked and she pulled away to look at me

She walked over to the bench in the room allowing us both to take a seat
"He gave both Emily and I an ultimatum. We either go with him or that's it" She said almost breaking into tears again
"That's it? What does that mean" I said, I didn't want to pester to much but I needed to know so i could help her
"meaning, we got with him or we no longer have a father" Riley said making me look at her in utter shock
"Oh Riley" I said hugging her again
"Why would he be willing to throw away his daughters like this" She cried
"Was I not good enough for him?" she continued, I picked her up placing her on my lap
"You are more then good enough, i promise" I said kissing her softly
